The fitness community loves to make up arbitrary rules. “If you don’t lift this much, you’re soft.” “If you don’t train this way, it doesn’t count.”
F*ck all that noise.
My only standard? Show up, clock in, and put in the work. Focus on your own space, your own sweat, and your own progress. The gym isn’t a courtroom—it’s a workspace. Stop worrying about the next person and go get yours.

Welcome everyone! This will be my official fitness page. This page will revolve around health and fitness obviously. Lets get it!
I will post tips on workouts, healthy food recipes, and anything related to a healthy lifestyle.

Perspective shifts everything. It’s easy to look at a brutal workout on a holiday after a long work shift and think, “I have to go do this.” Flip the script. You get to do it. You have the health, the lungs, the limbs, and the freedom—bought and paid for by people who put it all on the line.
My Murph today wasn’t traditional. It wasn’t RX’d(no vest), and it definitely wasn’t under optimal conditions. But it was done with full respect, capability, and purpose. Like it or not, that’s the freedom they fought for. Get it done with what you have, wherever you are.
Outdoor cooking hits different. 🥓🔥
A lot of people think eating healthy means miserable salads and dry chicken breasts. It really doesn’t have to be that deep. It’s just about making better swaps.
Swap pork bacon for turkey sausage or beef bacon. When you make eggs, throw in some egg whites and cottage cheese—you won’t even taste the cottage cheese, but the protein boost is massive.
Also, don’t stress yourself out trying to track every single calorie down to the gram. That’s a fast track to burnout. Just focus on a few simple rules: get a solid protein source in every meal, don’t be scared of carbs, and lean toward lower-fat options when you can. Keep it simple.
Let’s be real for a second: Genetics and good lighting aren’t credentials.
It is incredibly easy to hit the genetic lottery, find the perfect camera angle, and suddenly claim the title of "fitness guru."
But there is a massive difference between being naturally gifted at building muscle and actually understanding the science, the trial and error, and the discipline it takes to coach or train someone else.
When you're looking for guidance, don't just look at someone's peak aesthetic. Look for the work behind it.
• Angles can lie.
• Filters can fade.
• But real, hard-earned knowledge doesn’t.
Be careful who you take advice from. Choose the coaches who know how to build a routine from the ground up, not just the ones who look good standing in front of a mirror. Let’s get it! From the ground up! 🦾
The gym is only about 20% of the work. It’s the easiest part. The other 80% is where people go wrong. It’s their habits. Sleep, diet, stress, consistency…. It’s not an overnight thing but once you start chipping away at that other 90%, the rest will fall into place! 💪🏽

Steel is forged in heat.
What’s your “why” today?
IG:
The gym is the easy part 🏋🏽♂️
Anyone can or should be able to find an hour for the gym. Not everyone can find the discipline to prep clean fuel at 3am in the break room.
The heavy lifting starts here, long before I ever touch the barbell/dumbbells. If you’re failing in the kitchen, you’re stalling in the gym.

Lights don’t lift the weights.
Crunch has the lighting that definitely makes the work look good. But I see too many people spending half their sessions posing in the mirror.
That’s not the mission. At least not mine.
I’m here for the work and the progress. I’ll take a quick progress shot to track the grind, then it’s back to work. Clock in, get the work done, and move on.
The results speak for themselves without the extra flex.🦾🛠️

Outage season. 12-hour shifts. Zero excuses.
l’ve used the predictability of the grind to dial in my own consistency. The left was March 23rd; the right is today.
When the world thinks you’re too busy to train, that’s exactly when you make the most progress. Stay locked in.🛠️🦾
