Regain sucks. I don't suck. I have made choices about how to fuel and treat my body and mind in the last year that have led me to where I am now. Just because i've regained these last 50lbs doesn't mean i should mistreat my body or just keep doing what i did to get me here. I've been having lots of Come to Jesus moments with myself in the past few months and all i've done is get pudgier. Look. Point is. Surgery is not a cure all. This is hard work, and it will be for the rest of my life. But i'm learning that right now, it's really important to motivate myself through love and compassion rather than degradation and accusation. So here's to a week of me working to exist in a body i am comfortable in.❤
