On a mission to help all personal trainers take back their time and make their dream living.
Mountains 🏔 or Beach 🏖⁉️ WHAT’S YOUR VACATION PREFERENCE⁉️
Instagram vs Reality 😛
Yeah she’s more fit than me 😒 @alina_astilean
‼️5️⃣ biggest ways to optimize your workout and do twice the work in half the time 📈‼️
1️⃣ Have a plan 📝📊Without a training regimen, you will be wandering aimlessly trying to figure out what to do next. This will inhibit your results, and honestly waste your time.
2️⃣Turn your phone on airplane mode 🛫Headphones in. World off. Make sure you don’t answer emails, reply to texts, or field calls during your workout. 📲 It’s a surefire way to lose focus and waste time.
3️⃣Wear headphones 🎧 You’d be surprised how having headphones in will deter people from asking you questions or detracting from your workout. Quick tip to help you stay in your own lane. 🚘🚍🚖
4️⃣ Visualize your workout before going in. Take 5-10 mins to clear your head driving to your lift, during your warmup, or while you’re mobilizing, to get in the proper headspace to execute. 🧠😌That’s usually listening to a motivational clip, youtube video, podcast, or a music playlist that gets you locked in. 🧘♂️
5️⃣Warmup or add active mobility before lifting. 🤸♀️ This may seem counterintuitive since it is going to add time to your workout, but it will save you time in the long run to prevent injury, reduce the amount of warm up sets you’ll need, and get your blood flowing to ensure a fast start.
‼️ DISCLAIMER: Working out shirtless / mirror selfie’s unfortunately do not save time 😕
⁉️ Why I hit 10k steps per day 🚶♀️
1. Step counts can be a great way to add caloric expenditure without increases in cortisol levels. So many people think their workout is the only exercise they have to worry about, but active calories during a workout often only account for 10-15% of daily caloric expenditure… so what you do outside of your workout is even more important. The average American walks less than 4k steps per day. That inactivity, compounded with unhealthy eating patterns, accounts for some of the highest levels of obesity we’ve ever seen.
2. Walking outside has been proven reduce stress levels. Getting sunlight has tons of benefits such as improving mood, balancing circadian rhythm, and increasing productivity.
3. It’s a great way to spend time with friends. Find a buddy or partner to get steps with you so you can catch up while burning calories.
4. Blue 🐶 loves getting her steps in too. She must get 50k at the park every time we go. I’m jealous 😒
I’d recommend getting a simple tracker and adding 500-1000 steps per day weekly. Try to break it down into smaller walks instead of one huge one. I’ve found that to be more manageable.
Hope this helps. Get to stepping 🙂
Dog dad of the year 🏆🐶🐶
Hope you guys had a great Sunday 😁
❌Why 90% of people going to the gym don’t see results❌
1️⃣Thinking that your workout is the only thing that matters 🏋️♀️
2️⃣Not focusing on nutritional specificity (not tracking macros / eliminating inflammatory and processed foods) 🍪
3️⃣Not sleeping enough or focusing on recovery 💤
4️⃣High stress levels with no stress-mitigating tactics 🤬
5️⃣Spending a ton of money on supplements that they think will supersede other bad behaviors 💊
6️⃣Not having any training specificity (going through the motions) 🤷♂️
✅What you can do✅
1️⃣Create a succinct nutritional protocol and track your daily intake (macros), try to cook most of your food at home, and pack meals on the go (don’t try to wing it)
2️⃣Get off of blue light at least 30 mins before bed and try to get between 7-8 hours of sleep
3️⃣Take a daily walk without technology, or do a guided meditation to help with stress.
4️⃣Be goal oriented / organized. Write down the things you want to accomplish every single week and the steps needed to get there
5️⃣Make sure you purchase only the supplements that fall within your protocol, and are enhancing your results
6️⃣Have training specificity. Follow a plan and make sure you go into the gym with focus, train to failure and with intensity, and leave life’s other stressors at the door.

Date night ready 🤓
Tried to get @alina_astilean to join but she said, ‘You didn’t tell me we were talking pictures 😒 but you need more content so I’ll take one of you’
🤣😕 P.S. She looked really cute tho
6.5 years together and I fall more in love with you every day ❤️
Having a life partner that you can do anything with; laugh, be weird, workout with obvi, cook fun meals with (or more frequently for 😉), watch shows, hang with the pups 🐶, find fun activities to do, be active, etc… is the most rewarding thing that I’ve ever experienced and I’m never going to let it go.
You’re stuck with me forever 😝
Plus when you find one that looks like this, it makes that decision even easier 🥵😳
Everyone has this assumption that I have perfect genetics that would never allow me to put on any body fat. That’s simply not true. I’ve gone through phases of ‘bulking’ (eating whatever I wanted for months after periods of severe restriction) where would usually put on 30-40 lbs of mostly body fat 🐷
I didn’t really have a roadmap when I was 24. I thought carbs made you fat and severe caloric restriction was the way to get lean 👹
It took me years to figure out that this wasn’t the case. In the right photo, I’m eating 500+ grams of carbs, managing fat intake, and tracking my daily macros. 📓
