Max Verstappen looks like he has everything — raw pace, racecraft, tyre management, consistency, the ability to dominate in a top car, and drag results out of a weaker one.
We’ve seen Max win comfortably, but also fight wheel-to-wheel with the very best and come out on top. Few drivers in history have looked this complete across every aspect of racing.
But calling him the most complete ever is a huge claim. Legends like Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, and Ayrton Senna each had traits that defined eras — whether it’s Hamilton’s adaptability, Schumacher’s relentless dominance, or Senna’s unmatched qualifying brilliance.
So... Is Max truly the most complete driver the sport has ever seen… or are we just witnessing peak dominance in the right environment?

At $70 million a year, expectations for Lewis Hamilton are sky-high… but his start at Ferrari hasn’t exactly matched the price tag.
Lewis has been miles off of teammate Charles Leclerc during their time together at Ferrari. While Charles has achieved 9 podium finishes across the last 2 seasons, Lewis has only managed 1.
On the other hand, you’re not just paying for current results — you’re paying for legacy, experience, and the ability to transform a team. Hamilton has built dynasties before, and if Ferrari eventually give him the car, few would bet against him delivering.
So is this a massive overpay… or a long-term investment waiting to pay off?

The 2021 championship is still one of the most debated in F1 history.
Max Verstappen was incredible all season — winning races, taking poles, and going wheel-to-wheel with Lewis Hamilton in one of the closest title fights we’ve ever seen. Over the full year, many would argue he deserved to be champion.
But it all came down to that final race in Abu Dhabi.
The late safety car, the restart procedure, and the decision to only let certain cars unlap themselves completely changed the outcome — putting Max right behind Hamilton on the final lap with fresh tyres.
Some fans say that moment handed him the title. Others say he’d done enough across the season that it simply balanced out.
So… was Max gifted the championship, or did he
earn it over the full season?
