Great progress has been made since the idea of having my own clothing brand.

I started with grabbing sportswear attire that already exists and sewed my TUEBEFIT label on it.

After seeing many people with the same outfit on that I was selling but didn’t sell them, it made me feel like I was not exclusive enough.

I thought if I wanted to be exclusive, I would HAVE to come out with my own sportswear.

So I found an outfit I wanted to recreate and matched the colors to my skin tone so the TUEBEFIT set colors pop on darker toned skin.

I utilized my resources and found someone who has a manufacturer in their network. From there, I communicated what I wanted out of my set and here was the first sample.

I love the colors but I didn’t like the fit. There was extra fabric in the back of the shorts that I wanted removed. I also wanted more branding.

From here, the manufacturer and I communicated back and forth.

We are still in communication as I’m waiting on my xs sample to fit correctly.

It’s been 10 months perfecting these sets so I can mass produce them for all of you.

I am not wavering on the time. I want quality.

(Story time) In high school (‘04-‘08) I was a high jumper. It came naturally to me as a tall person. I had competed in high jump since middle school. After high school, my high jump talents got me a full ride to CSULA as a heptathlete.

After college (2012), I became a store manager for the Abercrombie and fitch company. I was so good I believed I could work for myself and grow my own business.

I set out to do that in 2014. As my business changed overtime, I changed with it.

I became a group personal trainer for 18 months and was determined to be independent. Once I decided to be independent is when ideas starting coming and people started helping.

By speaking your vision you learn who can help and who can’t.

In 2020 I was training my 12 year old clients (3 girls) when I mentioned I need to draw my logo but I don’t have the equipment.

One of the young girls said, “I can do that” and I sent her the photo to trace and fill in.

This is the result.

I paid that 12 year old girl who’s name I’m omitting and was so grateful that I got a logo at a low cost. Not only that, she did a great job and this logo was very personal to me. Not only is it a picture of me. This logo symbolizes going after your dreams.

Whatever the goal is, plan it out and believe you can do it by taking small steps towards your goals day but day.

I’m still in the beginning of my journey . I’m so grateful for it and have learned to enjoy the process.
