To attempt to adapt elements from the original film and the Broadway musical is extremely courageous, and was executed in ways that were innovative and contemporary.

It was amazing to see the All-Star cast, share their gifts and expand their instruments and ways we haven't seen in the main stream.

I hope that we can make it #1 one in the box office because the stories of our ancestors and relatives, especially from the south cannot be forgotten.💜
