In a 10-2 vote, Council approved our Fast Food Fair Work Week motion.

This means expanding LA’s existing protections for retail workers to also include fast food workers:

✅ 2 weeks advance notice of schedules
✅ Extra pay for last-minute changes
✅ Guaranteed between shifts.

This week, City Council approved our motion to expand the city’s ability to enforce existing wage theft laws so residents are paid what they earn.
