In Los Angeles, now more than ever, community is so important!

Originally, our Roda of the month was planned to celebrate Grupo Capoeira Brasil’s 36th Anniversary, but it also gave us a chance to come together for an uplifting time of music, games and axé with our capoeira family.

It was a bright moment amongst these days of loss. Thank you, all!

The Premier Capoeira Competition is leaving Brazil for the first time and coming to Los Angeles.

Volto do Mundo Bambas (VMB) features capoeiristas from all over North America competing in Kids, Teen, and elite Men’s and Women’s divisions.

Come cheer on the 14 athletes who will be competing on Saturday, July 20 in Culver City. See you there!
