Join Frogtown Arts Dia de los Mu***os celebration this weekend and rent bikes from Ryd to get around by texting your reservation to 323-572-7199! Here's the schedule:
Dia de los Mu***os - Community Altar and Celebration

November 1st - From 10:00 am-5:00pm. We'll be creating our community altar with the direction of local notable artist and Dia de los Mu***os historian Milton "MAJA" Jurado. We'll ask you to join us by bringing photos of your loved ones, ancestors, pan de mu**to, fruit, sugar skulls, marigolds and other traditional offerings. Write notes of remembrance, dedicate candles to your loved ones.

November 2nd - Festival 1:00 pm-5:00 pm We'll celebrate with Aztec blessings and dance, art by MAJA, craft/food vendors and traditional craft workshops.

1:00 pm Event Opens

Enjoy face painting provided by Oui Smile Pediatric Dentistry

1:30 pm. Ritual Azteca de la Santisima Virgen de Los Remedios - Blessing & Dance

3:00 pm - Bread Dough sculpture class with MAJA (Free-Sponsored by Frogtown Arts) & Tissue Paper Flower and sugar skull Workshop by donation ($5.00) instructed by local artist Patricia Perez

Tamales by local resident Gloria Mora will be for sale (cash only)

Birria From the Block will be selling their delicious birria dishes (cash/online payments)

Artist MAJA will have his bread dough sculptures for sale during the event.

This is a family and pet-friendly community-centered event grounded in cultural respect. Please be mindful of the neighborhood, if you are visiting, ride share services are highly recommended. Parking is available on Riverside Drive with a 2 block walk to the venue. All are welcome!

CicLAvia—Heart of LA presented by Metro Join CicLAvia on Sunday, October 12 from 9 am - 4 pm for a FREE community event. Come walk, run, bike, skate, and chill along open streets. All ages and abilities are welcome!

Ryd would like to congratulate our very own artist in residence Charly on starring in his first animated short film! There will be a ceremonial bike ride from Bike Oven to Vidiots. If you need a bike, we will be more than happy to rent you one. Congrats Charly!

Ryd is taking a beat after the fires that decimated SoCal, in which several friends lost their homes. If you are displaced from the fires or a first responder, your rides in February are FREE, just show ID. ❤️Text to reserve, no walks ups please.
