Geoff Parling appears to be less optimistic than was previously the case when asked about the likelihood of seeing Freddie Steward in a Leicester jersey again this season.
A fortnight ago, when it was revealed that the England full-back had undergone thumb surgery, the Tigers boss said he was “hopeful” that Steward would be back before the season’s end.

After nine incredible seasons, James Lowe will officially depart Leinster at the end of the current campaign. Following a dispute with the IRFU resulting in a significantly reduced one-year contract extension offer, the 34-year-old winger is now exploring fresh opportunities in France, England, or Japan. 🌍✈️
Lowe is set to make his milestone 100th appearance for the province this Saturday at 8 PM in the URC quarter-final clash against the Lions at the Aviva Stadium. Having recently equaled Shane Horgan’s historic 69-try record, this weekend's match could very well serve as his ultimate farewell performance. 🏉🔵
