Last year I had the pleasure of working in respite care as a Child Behavior Technician for children with autism. Keep in mind, I didn’t have any experience besides substitute teaching and being a youth life coach.

I learned so much from the kids and the families. My heart goes out to this community. We need more awareness on how to respond, how to help, how to advocate, the list goes on. No autism is the same and neither are we. Educate yourself, volunteer during with your children so that awareness can start in childhood❤️
