Every couple has their one fight.
The longest running show on Broadway.
Different day. Different trigger. Same fight. Always to be continued.
Years ago I created a process called Scripting. I ask couples to agree on that fight, the one that never ends, and then each of them writes it out. Independently. Like a movie script. Not surprisingly they had memorized their partner’s lines. Same fight. Same script. Wildly different perspectives.
What every couple discovers is fascinating.
They’re not fighting as themselves. They’re channeling younger versions of themselves who couldn’t afford to lose. Or they’re playing out some version of a parent, embodying the exact rules of engagement they grew up watching.
Same fight. Two people who aren’t even in the room anymore.
That’s not a relationship problem. That’s an unfinished story crying out for a new beginning. The one where everyone wins.
DM me. Let’s rewrite it.
The best act is waiting to be written.

Noticing an interesting trend of late. Clients thinking their relationship is falling apart — only to discover in one quick reset session that it’s really been trying to fall into place.
A new place. A place where the old version of the person you fell in love with doesn’t exist — and neither do you.
That’s not the issue. That’s the invitation.
Some call it growth. 😉
If that sounds familiar — DM me. Let’s reset.
.at.play - Come play. Maybe even heal. 😉

Most people are running toward success.
Proving. Achieving. Striving. Even grasping. Once you see it as something “over there” you spell out separation and speak from a position of lack.
But the real shift happens when success becomes a Self-fulfilled posture.
When you move from embracing sufficiency in the now instead of scarcity from the past or even projected ahead.
From coherence instead of comparison.
Success stops being something you reach. It becomes something you stand in.
Community At Play was built for that shift. Not to teach you how to win.
But to strengthen the inner architecture that allows you to operate from success.
If you feel the difference in that…
You already understand the invitation. If you’re ready to operate from success and he out of the chase business, come take a look at Community At Play .at.play

Forgetting is not failure. It is part of the human rhythm. What defines us is not whether we drift, but whether we return. The daily tending of the heart is not maintenance work. It is sacred practice. Each moment of awareness restores coherence and reconnects us to our deeper truth.

I’m less interested these days in whether something is impressive.
I’m more interested in whether it’s coherent.
Do my words match my actions. Are my thoughts and feelings in alignment. Is the overall signal I’m putting out clear.
Do the parts of me that want expansion have a real heart to heart conversation with the parts that prefer safety. Or do I do nothing and one day becomes the next and everything remains as it was. As it is.
That’s the energy. Not fixing. Just bringing everything into the same room. Collaborating. Celebrating and honoring past choices as not good or bad but simply responsible for getting me to this moment.
This is the kind of effort I’m building into Community At Play. Not as theory, but as practice.

Just that.

I don’t always hear indecision as confusion.
There are times when it sounds like different parts of someone are speaking at the same time.
One voice pulling forward.
Another holding back.
Another trying to keep pace, or in some odd way, peace within an old story. Alll competing for air time.
When those voices spar with each other, life can feel uncertain. Decision making is rendered virtually impossible.
Not because something’s wrong, but because competing intentions disrupt the frequency and inhibit integration.

I pay attention to four things at once: the internal dialogue people have with themselves, the language they use with others, the unconscious agreements they’re operating from, and the quiet contradictions that can exist between all of them.
When those aren’t yet aligned, people often find themselves stalled, circling, or getting results that don’t match their intentions. Through a clear process and practical tools, small adjustments can bring things back into alignment and coherence.

An attempt to sum up a 55 year friendship…A shared look or glance that would say more than words ever could. Punch lines to jokes older than us that only got funnier with time. Whole stories and episodes of our lives we could trigger with a single word. Answering the phone not with a hello but an immediate assault on anything that would resemble decency or maturity because funny is just funny EVEN when we were the only two laughing. As time was winding down we resorted to a shorthand not wanting to waste a minute. ALS ran down the clock on us. But it couldn’t steal your humor, your resilience, your courage. Grief isn’t linear and neither is the time that shapes it. There are gaps and moments that need to be filled not with things but with greater presence. You reminded me to stop thinking about the thoughts in my head when I took the dogs for a walk and to just appreciate the dogs and the ability to walk. So many things you gifted me with. You used to always say thanks for coming by…that you felt so safe when I was there. I just wish I had the super power to save you. But that’s not life. All this other stuff is. So you moved on and so will I. With you though. Not going to let your existence in another dimension change everything. And let it be known once and for all - I have the better hair.
