Training with Miriam is by far the best recommendation I could give. In the very beginning, I tried only one session and it quickly became an addiction. She knows how to turn work-outs into something fun, dynamic and adapted to your goals. I believe having a time reserved for yourself is what brings you freshness, well-being and motivation for the rest of the week, and Miriam makes sure to always add new challenges, new exercises to avoid routine. Bonus: she simply is the sweetest woman in the world.

Fun Intensive Training. Being FIT is a way of life. With the right help you can drop fat get toned and transform your body with a certified trainer.

Is exercising during pregnancy safe?

Not only is exercise during pregnancy safe, it is strongly recommended!

Prenatal exercise may seem scary but studies show that it is one of the best things you can do for both you AND your baby.

Here are a few of the many reasons why you should exercise:

👼Feel good as your body changes.
👼Promote muscle tone, stamina and strength.
👼Reduce leg and back pain, constipation, swelling and bloating.
👼Promote blood circulation and possibly help prevent varicose veins.
👼Help your posture and balance, which is very important as your center of gravity shifts.
👼Sleep better.
👼Manage stress.
👼Reduce risk of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes.
👼Prepare your body for labor and childbirth.

Thankfully I was lucky enough to exercise through my entire pregnancy and felt energetic though it all. I hope you have the same experience or even better 😘

Adding or eating fruit for your morning meal contributes many benefits to your overall health.🍏Strengthen the Immune System:Fruit is high in vitamin C and antioxidants which help to boost the immune system throughout the day.

🍉Weight Loss:Fruit helps the body go through a detoxification phase that helps rid the body of excess toxins which help the body to lose weight.
🍌Energy:Fruit helps to boost your metabolism and has natural sugars that give the body natural energy throughout the day instead of depending on sugary caffeine options that tend to give temporary energy.
🍓Improves the Digestive System:Because fruit is packed with fiber and nutrients it helps to stimulate the digestion and cleanse the colon. Food that helps promote healthy digestion include berries, bananas, prunes, figs, and avocado. Eating foods high in fiber can help reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity, and diabetes.

🥝What’s your favorite fruit?

Beyond proud of my beautiful client @shannisuissa who has proven that hard work pays off and the process is so worth it. This girl has completely transformed her life and has committed to the goal of being healthy and taking care of her body. @shannisuissa knew starting this journey with me that it wasn’t about the immediate fix, but the process of changing her life habits.
The picture on the left was taken in January 2019 weighing 190 pounds and on the right March 2020 weighing 160. @shannisuissa is still committed to her workouts no matter what challenges may come her way #quarantine won’t stop her!
She motivates me every day and reminds me why I picked this profession!
Her message to you all is “never go into anything wanting immediate results because it will never happen”. Her journey doesn’t end here it only continues! stay tuned 💪 #letsgetfit

If you don’t own a TRX this is the perfect time to own one☝️ Here are a 5 of the many benefits of using a TRX
1. Suitable for all levels
It doesn’t matter if you’re an Olympic athlete or just venturing into a new hobby of fitness, TRX training is beneficial for all levels of athlete. Just by changing your body position slightly, the load can be increased or decreased on your muscles meaning that everyone can use this method of training.
2. Improve cardio and strength
TRX workouts will not only improve your muscle strength, but also your cardiovascular endurance. By changing the speed at which you perform the exercise, you can increase the work out you give to your heart and lungs.
3.Engages whole body
The instability that the TRX suspension system creates whilst you perform movements means that your core is constantly activated. Moreover, the functional movements mean that many muscles are worked at the same time, providing a very comprehensive workout.
4. Low impact nature
Because of its suspended nature, TRX training is very low impact and means that your joints are not put under much stress. This means that there is a low risk of injury, allowing you to train as hard as you wish with less risk of causing or agitating a pre-existing injury.
5. You can use it from home and travel with it, this way you have no excuse to not working out. The TRX is super light and makes it so easy to take along with you anywhere you go. 💪Complete each exercise for 45 seconds and repeat as many time as you wish 💪

Why is routine key to having a successful life?

1. Makes Us More Efficient 💁‍♀️
When we have a routine that we follow daily, it reduces the need to make decisions each day. It enables us to know exactly what tasks we need to do each day without having to contemplate, decide or think too much. When we are finished with one task, we know what comes next without much thought. Activities become standardized and we become more efficient as a result.

2. Creates Structure in Our Lives 🏃‍♂️
A daily routine provides structure and a logical sequence in our lives. It provides the framework within which we live our lives and conduct our daily activities. Soon we become familiar and comfortable with what we have to do each day. It allows us to experience a flow to our day.

3. Breaks Bad Habits 💪
While our routine helps us develop good habits that are in line with exploiting our full potential, it also helps to eradicate bad habits that do not serve us well. We can slowly replace our bad habits with good ones through repetition.

02/17/2020

When the world turn upside down the best thing to do is turn along with it.🤸‍♂️

2 Tips on staying positive:
1. Separate Fact From Fiction☝️
The first step in learning to focus on the positive requires knowing how to stop negative self talk.
The more you ruminate on negative thoughts, the more power you give them. Most of our negative thoughts are just thoughts, not facts so stop giving it energy.

2.Cultivate An Attitude Of Gratitude
Take time to contemplate what you’re grateful for. 🤩
Any time you experience negative or pessimistic thoughts, use this as a cue to shift gears and think about something positive. In time, a positive attitude will become a way of life.

This past Sunday I decided to take it easy and skip the gym.
When I have days like that I always try and stay active.
I’ll usually walk on the beach , Rollerblade or take a chill yoga class.
So We walked on the beach and stopped at a fun bar called @thewaterfrontvenice that has a bunch of fun games and one of them was Ping Pong. I haven’t played ping pong in years and had such a blast. 🏓😎
Here are the 3 benefits of playing ping pong:
1. It gives a workout to your brain 🧠 which not only keeps you physically, furthermore mentally fit.
2. Stress release! This is a great way to release stress if you are having a hectic day!
3. Ping Pong helps you build strength, speed and agility.🏓 @ The Waterfront Venice

How to stay motivated and live a balanced life ⛹️‍♀️🏋️💪🧘‍♀️🍰☺️🤼‍♀️👯‍♀️😅🥳🤸‍♂️💗Make it fun ————————————————————————Try and do‏ any physical activity that you love to do.For example:walking and listening to a podcast, dancing in your room with blasting music or taking a dancing class, boxing, hiking with your dogs or swimming. It doesn’t have to be a anything specific as long as your committed to doing it.I find it much easier to commit to something you love to do than something you can’t stand. Doing something you dislike might get you through a week, but after a while you will give up. Try to be realistic and know what works for you and what you’ll actually
do. The main thing is we need to move our body one way or another, so why not make it fun!🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️
💪Have a friend keep you accountable ————————————————————————Having a friend or a partner to hold you accountable is extremely helpful to helping you stay on track and a reminder to not give up on your goals 🤼‍♀️🧘‍♀️🏌️‍♀️🏋️
💪Balance is key ————————————————————————Having a cheat day once a week and rewarding yourself with something you love will actually help you keep your goals on track. It’s so important to give your body some rest and enjoy the little things in your life.rewarding yourself by getting a ice cream on the weekend or a slice of pizza (all in moderation) is totally fine and extremely important for your life.Be preset and control yourself without putting yourself down and letting yourself go. Balance is key!

Happy Sunday 🌞 this morning I was craving something warm and filling before I hit the gym and decided to make oatmeal for the hubs and me.
For two servicing use 1 cup gluten free oats (Trader Joe’s)
1 Tbsp honey, 1/2 Tbsp pumpkin spice or cinnamon and 2 cups almond milk.
Stir in the pot on low until the oats fluff up and add toppings of choice.
(I did banana, raspberries, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and almond butter)
Enjoy 😜

The idea of working out can sometimes get overwhelming especially to those who don’t work out on a regular basis.
We tend to forget how easy it is to exercise by moving and having fun. My husband and I rented rollerblades for 7$ and we had a blast! Point is it doesn’t have to be expensive.Try an activity for example a hike, a sport or any hobby you enjoy and make that your workout. #moveyourbody #letsgetfit

11/14/2019

Do you ever feel guilty taking time for yourself❓❓❓Here are a few reasons why you should never feel guilty again 👇
Taking time for yourself gives your brain a chance to reboot, improves concentration, increases productivity, helps you discover (or rediscover) your own voice, gives you a chance to think deeply and helps you problem solve more effectively. It also gives you a better sense of balance and self-awareness that can lead to a better understanding of yourself and what drives you , inspires you or excites you. This can have a positive effect not only on the quality of your relationship with yourself, but also on the quality of your relationship with others.
