Disabled Soldiers Scuba Fund

A non profit introducing disabled vets to scuba diving by offering training and trips to diving locations. OUR MISSION STATEMENT The Disabled Soldiers Scuba Fund is a non profit charity organization dedicated to improving the quality of lives of wounded service members by offering scuba training with our partner group Disabled Veterans Scuba Project and introducing them to the world of diving, an activity which has proven to help with the rehabilitation process and instill a sense of confidence.

All our instructors and divemasters are volunteers and work with vets at their own pace giving them the time to master the necessary skills to earn their scuba certification. After the training DSSF funds trips to take them to tropical locations where they can dive in warm waters, with clear visibility and experience the underwater world in all it’s beauty. For many of these vets it’s the trip of a lifetime. Many of them live off fixed incomes and this is a chance for them to step outside their daily routine and form new and lasting friendships. For us it is an opportunity for us to give back to those who have given so much for us. DSSF operates solely from donations and the generous support of people like you. The money we raise covers the cost of equipment, training, airfare, hotels, meals and diving charter expenses. So please help by making a tax deductible donation today.
