FIT TIP OF THE DAY: Have a sweet tooth but still on a diet? Try this delicious dessert-like protein shake - 1/2 cup of Chocolate Almond Milk, 1/2 cup of water, 2 tbsp of Peanut Butter (All natural no sugar added), one serving of your favorite protein powder (I like cookies n cream flavor the best in this particular smoothie) plus ice to taste. Pulverize in a blender and enjoy this delicious dessert shake!
FIT TIP OF THE DAY: Try going a week doing 50 - 100 jumping jacks as soon as you wake up and get out of bed. These will get you and your muscles awake and on their way to burning fat for the rest of the day. See how much of a difference it makes in a week - I shed an extra 4 lbs.
FIT TIP OF THE DAY: Next time you drive somewhere, don't look for the closest spot... in fact, park farther away from where you're going and take a brisk walk to where you're going. If you're parking in a multi level structure, take the stairs. Little adjustments like this will keep your body burning calories throughout your day without you even noticing!

FIT TIP OF THE DAY: Snacking in between meals does not have to be bad for you; healthy snacking between meals will keep your metabolism working and when your metabolic rate is up, you're burning calories! A healthy snack can consist of a complex carb and a protein. Almonds and a piece of fruit, a protein shake (muscle milk or naked juice protein zone is my fav), Whole Wheat crackets and nuts, raw veggies and peanut butter. When I want a perfectly healthy snack, I always have Shakeology!

Fitness and Health tip of the day: DON'T skip breakfast! It is important to eat within 1 hour of waking up to get your metabolism going for the day! If you're pressed for time, a quick smoothie with milk, frozen fruit, protein powder and yogurt is an easy and delicious breakfast option. Don't like smoothies? How about some multi-grain cereal with milk but add protein powder to it to make it a complete meal!
