Tutorial Wednesday! Here I’d like to share a quick sequence of #anjaneyasana into #ardhahanumanasana (low crescent lunge into half splits)

‼️⚠️ I’m showing blocks being used! Alert! Blocks and other props are your friends!
I am pretty flexible in my hamstrings but I wanted to show here that blocks help us not to hang in our joints...helps access our “stretch” more, helps our spines, so many things! So use blocks to assist you! It doesn’t mean you are not a good yogi or “not good enough” because your aren’t “flexible”. YOGA IS for EVERYBODY! 🔹this low lunge is a great hip flexor opener🔹I’m working my thoracic (upper back) mobility (cactus arms)🔹keep front knee stacked over the ankle! 🔹you see me shaking my head showing how you should “zip up your pants...aka lift your hip points up in the lunge fo find your neutral pelvis..very important for the stability of the pelvis and low back🔹half splits keep hips squared 🔹lead forward toward your shin with your chest...heart🔹find alignment in all of your movement... it’s only from #alignment that we find mobility, agility, non-injury, and overall feeling strong and awesome in our bodies! 🤗🙏🏼
