🛑How do you train your trunk and spine or “core”?🛑

I’ll let you in on a little secret...

⚠️In order to develop a healthy functioning and strong “core” musculature you must address the main movements of the spine⚠️

and...

⚠️eventually, progress towards challenging those muscles through their full ranges of motion with an appropriate resistance⚠️

❗️You mean I should move my spine out of a neutral position?!?❗️

➡️That’s right!!

✅You must move out of a neutral spinal position to improve the muscles of the trunk and spine✅

⚠️Only doing planks will not be enough to see improvements in your “core’s” strength and function⚠️

⚠️As well, fast paced sit ups with minimal control will yield minimal results⚠️
