2025 was not without its ups and downs but ended on high notes: reunited and caught up with TKD friends after 30 years and meeting with fellow Grandmasters and company.... Happy 2026 Everyone!

Day 1 of hiking in Cusco...now to work on my inner peace!

It's been a busy couple of weeks but it was great catching up with my life long teacher and Grandmaster James Kim in NYC and a big thank you to Master Guerrero and his family for taking a break from Worlds competition to visit our dojang.

The reality of my lifetime achievement of Grandmaster status has not set in yet. Always thinking ahead and finding ways to improve, motivate and set new goals for myself and my community.

Recently we had a special guest at our dojang: Grandmaster Kim traveled from the east coast to observe our dojang and had the opportunity to meet our instructors and some of our senior students. Before returning home, he mentioned, more than once, how he was impressed with their dedication, respectfulness and skills. While here, he presented Master Lee with a 7th Dan certificate and promoted her to Grandmaster level. I am humbled and honored to be inducted into a group of elite practitioners. I am excited to continue teaching and growing our community and look forward to what we accomplish in the future.

Mom came to visit the dojang for our 5th year re-establishment anniversary! Mom thank you and dad for supporting my "habit" and passion of the martial arts throughout my life! The certificates on the walls are just a few reminders of milestones you've helped me achieve. Love you!
