It's that time again!! Get your pumpkin on, without "pudding" Holiday weight on! I served this pudding last night for dessert and it was a hit. I threw some of the leftover mixture in a smoothie this morning with unsweetened vanilla protein powder and coconut milk and it was delicious!

A low-fat, low-sugar, perfectly tart/sweet/spiced, healthy "throw together" Dessert.

How 1-Minute Intervals Can Improve Your Health

Dehydration can and may be the cause of almost every ill-symptom you feel daily; headaches, brain fog, muscle aches/weakness, fatigue, "ADD", hunger, chapped lips, mood swings, "anxiety/depression", skin rashes,...and the list goes on! Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces daily, and add even more if you are working out and/or drinking caffeine.

Cross-country skiing does a body good, and works muscles you never knew you had! If you can't make it to the mountains this winter, try using the elliptical on high resistance with ZERO incline. This simulates the XC ski workout and burns over 500 cals in less than 1 hr.!


Too many reasons to make the switch from cow's milk to almond: Almond vs. Skim milk per serving: 35 cals vs. 80 cals, 0g sugar vs. 12g sugar, 50% DV Vitamin E vs. 0%, and 1g carb vs. 13g. 'Nuff said.

DO NOT make this post-Thanksgiving binge mistake that most people make: DON'T restrict your food intake today. After over-indulgence, getting back on track does not require reducing calories...this will only slow your metabolic rate at a time when it is most important for it to work speedily. instead of skimping on food after an overload, focus on dropping excess carbs and sugar and consuming loads of veggies to cleanse your system, adequate lean protein to sustain, and healthy fats for thermogenesis. Drink plenty of water and aim for 3-4 cups of (the catechin balanced stimulant) green tea before 3pm so you don't end up sleepless tonight. And, most importantly, EXERCISE! Even a 20-minute burst will do. Now, go to it before you go for the Thanksgiving leftovers..!
