We can’t believe it’s been a week since the Golden State Grand Slam x Seattle Throwdown Tournament weekend.

A huge a thank you goes out to Keith, and their entire community for opening the doors to their venue and making their home our home.

A big thank you to everyone who helped change boards, make calls and score matches. The tournaments runs so smoothly because we have so many amazing people willing to pitch in and help out.

Shout out to and for making trophies and sponsoring our tournaments. Both of these makers mean a great deal to us. Goose has been a big supporter of ours since the day we opened. LA AX wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for Greg from Heathen buying in and believing in what we were building in SoCal.

Thank you to for taking photos all weekend! Many of the photos in our post were taken by him. We highly recommend you join his Discord and check out all the amazing photos he took throughout the entire weekend. Not only did he take incredible action shots he captured a ton of what makes our sport so amazing, the people.

Speaking of the people. A big thank you goes out to everyone that attended last weekend, has attended one of our events before, thrown in our leagues, took the time to talk to us, or visited us in the past. We put our whole hearts into what we do and our community, but it’s meaningless without you all showing up. Everything is theory until people walk in the door. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. It truly means the world to us.

Due to some issues with the LA AX website that we haven't been able to sort out, the registration on sale for the Golden State Grand Slam, Doubles and 3 Musketeers are being pushed back by a day or two.
We will post when the issue is resolved and we have new registration on sale date set.

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Golden State Grand Slam!!�This year we have teamed up with our friends at who will act as the host venue for an epic weekend of axe throwing on January 23rd-26th, 2025.

The weekend will consist of 6 total events, 3 hosted by LA AX and 3 hosted by Axe Kickers. It all kicks off on Thursday with a Marathon League, Friday will be Doubles and a new event called Three Musketeers, and Saturday is the Golden State Grand Slam Marquee tournament followed by a Big Axe tournament. The weekend will conclude with the Seattle Throwdown Major Marquee tournament on Sunday.�There will be 5 spots up for grabs into Round 2 of the Wilson Cup over the course of the weekend!
Tickets are limited and go on sale on Monday, November 18th at 10am PST, 1pm EST. ��More information can be found on the Golden State Grand Slam page of our website or the Events page on the Axe Kickers website.
