If you would’ve told me 10 years ago I would be…

Celebrating my birthday in Spain 🇪🇸

Living in Los Angeles

Running my own business that I genuinely love

Feeling more confident and free than I’ve ever felt

Taking better care of my health now than I did in my 20s

Surrounded by so much love…from family and chosen family

I feel so incredibly grateful for this life. Sometimes I look around and can’t believe this is mine.

The last 10 years have been filled with so many ups and downs, life-changing moments…times I really didn’t think I’d be able to pick myself back up. When I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, it was always there, waiting for me on the other side of the pain.

Those challenges have molded me. They’ve given me the wisdom and grit to push forward and build this life I’m living now, and they’ve helped me grow as a human and become a better therapist.

Thank you, God, for healing, growth, expansion, and blessings far beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Through all of it…the highs, the lows, the quiet in-between, life is truly magical. ❤️

Knowing your non-negotiables is one thing.

Honoring them when love gets complicated is another.

Use these prompts to help you identify yours. Write as many or as few as feel true to you.

Save this and come back to it when life asks you to stand on business.🩶

I don’t usually comment on pop culture news, but given that my work is in this exact space, I couldn’t scroll past this one.

Meg spoke publicly about something I talk with my clients about every single day: knowing your non-negotiables and actually honoring them when love gets complicated.
That’s not easy. And it deserves a real conversation.

This carousel breaks down the psychology behind what she modeled, and what it can teach all of us.

This week we talked about why your brain goes straight to self-blame after a breakup.

Now we work through it…

These journal prompts are designed to help you release what was never yours to carry, grieve what actually happened, and come back to yourself.

Save this for your next journal session. 🤍

“If I had just done things differently, it would have worked out.”

If that thought has been on repeat since your breakup, this is for you.

Your brain would rather say “I caused this” than sit with the fact that some things were never in your control.

That’s not weakness. That’s attribution theory.

Journal prompts dropping Thursday. 🤍

Here’s where the real work begins 📝

These six prompts are designed to bring you back to reality…not to make you hate your ex, but to help you see the relationship as it actually was.

Not the version your nervous system keeps serving you on repeat. Work through them slowly. There’s no rush.

Save this for when your mind starts rewriting the story.

The version of you that disappears in relationships deserves to be found.

Somewhere along the way, you learned that being too much or too honest, or too needy, wasn’t safe.

So you made yourself smaller. More loveable. Less of a burden.

These prompts are an invitation to meet the parts of you that learned to shrink, people-please, and go quiet just to feel loved.

Save this for your next journaling session. ❤️

Your body isn’t broken. It’s responding exactly the way it learned to. The question is, are you stuck in fight/flight or freeze? Swipe to find out.

People pleasing isn’t who you are. It’s what you learned.
And what was learned can be unlearned. ❤️

Your brain filters what you notice 🧠

Your Reticular Activating System (RAS) acts like a built-in algorithm.

It scans your environment and highlights what matches your beliefs.

If your belief is:
“There are no good men”
“Dating is terrible”
“Everyone is emotionally unavailable”

Your brain will gather evidence to support this belief and show you MORE of that thought & belief (like an algorithm)

Not because it’s true.
But because your brain is wired to confirm what you already believe.

This doesn’t mean dating is easy, it means your focus shapes your experience.

Shift your thoughts and beliefs and you’ll shift your dating experience.

Remember ➡️ What you look for, you will find

Comment “RAS” if you want a deeper breakdown of how the RAS works
