Rowing is low-impact and creates high results, meaning you can work hard and not hurt your body in the process. REASONS WHY EXERCISE IS BENEFICIAL TO PREGNANT WOMEN!
Women who trained 5x per week during pregnancy had:
*shorter labors
*less complications during labor
*required fewer medical interventions
*gained less weight during pregnancy *and had longer and leaner babies.

I will say this with lots of "sidenotes" because it really depends on your fitness levels pre pregnancy.. and many other person-specific details but I am such a huge believer in keeping your body moving during pregnancy - WHATEVER feels good to you! When I was pregnant with Jett I didn't belong to any fitness studios.. I did a lot of walking and rode my bike indoors on a stationary trainer. I didn't do much strength training at all, but made sure to stay active! THIS time around, I have continued my workouts that include both rowing AND strength training as well as some at home interval style workouts and I am really excited to see everything differs from the first pregnancy as well as during labor and post-partum! I saw this hashtag on another preggo-gal's fitness account " “ and I think thats the perfect way to describe the goals of my fitness routine right now!
