Keepin' UCLA healthy since 1919. Want to learn more about SWC? Check out www.swc.ucla.edu or view our "About" section on this page! We, the Student Wellness Commission, affirm that student well-being goes hand-in-hand with both physical and psychological health as well as academic success, and well-roundedness.
Therefore, we tend to the needs of undergraduate students in these areas. In this way, SWC promotes the holistic well-being of the student body. Through our diverse programs and projects, we address issues concerning the students’ physical and mental health, campus safety, academic success, retention, and awareness about issues and philanthropy as we give the students the opportunity to take part in programs that benefit certain non-profit organizations related to UCLA or other non-UCLA organizations related to improving health and well-being of others.

Interested in learning more about the internal and external workings of SWC? Looking to gain better event planning skills and a chance to improve student wellness? Apply to be a SWC intern!
The SWC fellowship program is designed to provide interns with a more holistic and comprehensive understanding of the Student Wellness Commission and to prepare them for future leadership positions within SWC. The SWC interns will work closely with SWC's Executive Board members to learn about the internal structure of SWC and SWC as a whole. Their primary role will be to help committees with event preparation and to assist with various internal and external tasks. The interns will play an integral part of the planning and preparation of any commission wide-events including Bruin Health Week in the Spring quarter. Interns will also work one-on-one with different executive-board members if they wish to do so (i.e Marketing, Finance, Logistics).
