Jaxson Dart addresses Giants teammates after Trump introduction controversy

Before the Giants took the practice field this week, the entire football operation gathered to address the political elephant in the room.

Jaxson Dart and other locker-room leaders spoke in a meeting to clear the air about the quarterback’s decision to introduce President Donald Trump last Friday at a rally at Rockland Community College, The Post confirmed.

Dart’s entrance into the political arena caused a predictably polarizing stir among fans but spilled into the locker room when Abdul Carter wrote on X that he “thought the video was AI” and questioned “what are we doing.” The since-deleted tweet generated more than 50 million views.

Carter later posted an updated on social media to say that he and Dart “are good” and had a conversation “as Men” to work things out.

One of the themes of the meeting was keeping team business internal and not airing frustrations publicly, according to ESPN. OTA practices are voluntary, so it is not clear which players attended and which did not.

Carter was not in attendance but had previously communicated to Harbaugh that he had family obligations related to the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha, sources told The Post.

Head coach John Harbaugh has 18 years of experience dealing with off-field controversies spilling into the locker room from his time with the Ravens.

The Giants believe that the meeting, which included Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Jameis Winston addressing the team, squashed any bad blood that might have existed and that the team is ready to move forward. Not before facing media questions Friday after their open OTA, however.

Even before the meeting, Jermaine Eluemunor wrote on X that the “locker room is fine.”

Trump, who has met with the Harbaugh brothers at the White House, endorsed John Harbaugh as the Giants head coach during the search in January.

“It feels really great,” Harbaugh said at his introductory press conference, “and I’ll tell you, I also noticed on that post that he said, ‘And John, take the job.’”

Dart did not seek or need permission from the Giants to participate after receiving the invitation from Trump’s camp, The Post previously reported. If he had, he would have been advised that he was representing himself and not the team so not to do the “Go Big Blue!” chant that he started for the audience.

Super Bowl champion Parris Campbell suddenly retires from NFL at 28

Parris Campbell is calling it a career.

The 28-year-old wide receiver has decided to retire from the NFL before the 2026 season, according to the Cowboys’ official website.

The team has officially placed him on the reserve/retired list.

Campbell, an Akron, Ohio, native, had a prolific career at Ohio State that saw him win a College Football Playoff national championship in 2015 and earn First Team All-Big Ten honors during the 2018 campaign when he grabbed 90 passes for 1,063 yards with a conference-leading 12 touchdowns.

That monster senior season led him to be selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Colts.

Multiple injuries — including a torn MCL and PCL in Week 2 of the 2020 campaign — limited him to just 15 games across his first three seasons as a pro. But he played in all 17 contests for Indianapolis in 2022, hauling in a career-best 63 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns.

Campbell signed a one-year, $4.7 million contract with the Giants for the 2023 season following his breakout, but recorded just 20 catches for 104 receiving yards in limited playing time over 12 games (three starts).

He opened up to The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy in December of that season about his diminished role.

“It’s not easy, but it’s the nature of the business,” Campbell told The Post. “The cliché thing to say is, ‘You know what you’re getting when you sign up,’ which is true. But there’s always things you never thought you’d be doing — and being inactive and not playing is definitely something I never thought would be happening.”

Campbell joined the rival Eagles for 2024, and though he finished the year with just six catches, he did get a ring when the Eagles thumped the Chiefs in Super Bowl 2025.

His tour through the NFC East continued last season when he joined the Cowboys, though he suited up in just one game. Campbell signed a reserve/future contract with Dallas in January, but he’ll instead end his career.

SoFi Stadium lawsuit sparks $400 million battle with Rams owner Stan Kroenke

Stan Kroenke’s Hollywood Park empire in Inglewood was built on one of the most ambitious private stadium projects in American sports history — a $5 billion vision anchored by SoFi Stadium, completed without direct taxpayer funding.

But nearly a decade after breaking ground, that same project is now at the center of a $400 million legal fight between Kroenke’s company and the city that helped bring it to life.

According to reporting from the New York Times, the owner of the Los Angeles Rams is seeking roughly $400 million in reimbursement from the city of Inglewood, arguing that under a 2015 development agreement, the city was obligated to cover certain infrastructure improvements tied to the stadium site and surrounding Hollywood Park development.

Those improvements include roads, sewer systems, and other public-facing upgrades designed to support the massive sports and entertainment complex.

Inglewood, however, is pushing back hard. City officials argue that the original agreement Kroenke’s team is relying on was effectively voided by a later court decision, which invalidated certain voter-adopted development arrangements under California law.

In their view, the city is under no obligation to pay the requested sum. And they are also disputing the methodology behind Kroenke’s $400 million calculation.

The dispute is not limited to infrastructure reimbursements. A separate legal clash is also unfolding over billboard placements around SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park campus, with a hearing scheduled as tensions continue to escalate between the two sides.

In a statement cited by the Times, Otto Maly, managing director of Hollywood Park, warned that revisiting long-standing development agreements could undermine confidence in doing business with the city and, more broadly, in California itself.

Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. has countered that position directly, arguing that cities retain the authority to act in the public interest even when it conflicts with private financial expectations.

Kroenke, who also settled a separate $790 million litigation tied to the Rams’ relocation from St. Louis, now finds himself in another high-stakes legal battle over money, leverage and the fine print of stadium-era economics.

Kroenke has an estimated net worth of roughly $26.8 billion. His portfolio spans multiple major leagues and continents, including the Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Arsenal F.C. in the English Premier League, among others.

With SoFi Stadium set to host marquee global events like the 2026 World Cup, the Super Bowl in 2027 and the 2028 Olympics, both sides now face pressure to resolve a fight that could reshape not just finances, but also he long-term relationship between one of the NFL’s most powerful owners and the city that helped build his crown jewel.

Travis Kelce hints he and Taylor Swift are considering huge life change after highly anticipated wedding

Travis Kelce gave a sign that he and Taylor Swift are changing their last names after getting married.

The NFL athlete, 36, “liked” an Instagram post Tuesday from the podcast “Bussin’ With the Boys,” in which hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan discussed if Swift will change her last name to Kelce after tying the knot.

A guest on the podcast noted that Swift was “way more globally famous” than Kelce, and that Kelce would have to change his name. The hosts joked that “Travis Swift” was a fitting name for Kelce, but that “Taylor Kelce” also sounded good.

They then landed on the two hyphenating their last names to “Swift-Kelce.”

“No, you gotta go Swift-Kelce — Travis Swift-Kelce,” they enthusiastically said.

Fans loved Kelce liking the post, with one fan commenting, “Travis liking this is hilarious 😂😂 that’s why he’s perfect for her.”

Another wrote, “love that travis liked this video 😂😍.”

Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025 after two years of dating. A source told Page Six that they’re expected to wed this summer in New York City.

The couple hasn’t been shy about going on public date nights ahead of their big day.

On Saturday, they attended Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Knicks and the the Cavaliers in Cleveland. Kelce — an Ohio native — was of course cheering for the Cavaliers. Though they ended up losing, Kelce appeared to enjoy himself, at one point chugging a beer courtside while Swift watched in amusement.

With their wedding just weeks away, lawyer Sarah Luetto, a partner in Blank Rome’s Matrimonial & Family Law Group, exclusively spoke with Page Six about what a potential prenuptial agreement between the pair might entail.

They could be barred from discussing their marriage under a prenuptial non-disclosure agreement — though the pop star, 36, could still retain the right to sing about their relationship.

“Swift and Kelce may wish to include terms fostering confidentiality and privacy,” Luetto, who does not represent either party, told us. “This may include non-disparagement or non-disclosure terms related to their relationship.”

“In Taylor’s case, she would likely not want to include provisions limiting her from singing about her relationship in songs, particularly since there is always so much speculation about the subjects of her songwriting,” she added.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said he and fiancée Taylor Swift tried to hit up Celebrity Row at Madison Square Garden during the Eastern Conference finals between the Knicks and his hometown Cavaliers, but his schedule didn’t allow it.

During Wednesday’s installment of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce explained Swift’s “New York ties” and gushed over the couple’s date night at Game 3 in Cleveland on Saturday.

“This wasn’t me trying to persuade Taylor into being a Cleveland sports fan with me,” Travis told his brother Jason Kelce. “This was me just having a fun date night knowing that I love going to basketball games.

“We actually tried to go to a game in New York, but I was stuck in Kansas City. I love bringing her into the sports world that I appreciate. That’s why you’ve seen us at the U.S. Open tennis matches, other baseball games, and the (Guardians) vs. the (Yankees) two years ago. I just enjoy bringing her to experience a lot of the fun that I’ve always known to have.”

Travis brought up the now viral photo from 2014 of Swift rocking a Knicks jersey with former New York stars, Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire, on the court at Madison Square Garden.

“Not a lot of teams have been able to get Taylor to wear a jersey, and the Knicks did,” Travis said, as the podcast showed the image.

“… Tay’s got a lot of New York ties. When it came down to going to the Cavs game, she was like, ‘Oh nice, they’re playing the Knicks, sweet! I’ve seen them play before.’ It was fun.”

Swift lives part time in New York, where she has an apartment.

The 36-year-old tight end — who will return to the Chiefs for a 14th season after contemplating retirement — emphasized his love for introducing Swift to the world of sports, especially in his hometown of Cleveland Heights.

News broke Wednesday morning that Kelce is set to become a minority owner of the Guardians.

“Getting Tay back to Cleveland and showing her my roots is always something I love doing,” Travis said, adding that the pair didn’t have much time to explore.

“Not this time. We came in strictly for the game this time.”

The Knicks completed a four-game sweep with a 130-93 win over the Cavaliers in Game 4.

They will hit the road to face either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder when the 2026 NBA Finals begin June 3.

OKC leads the Western Conference finals series 3-2 heading into Thursday’s Game 6.

Kelce and Swift are enjoying his offseason before their wedding this summer.

Sleepy retiree haven in Florida is booming with hip new residents eager to launch their careers

Boca is booming — without the boomers.

When Diana Gonçalves, 33, a Pilates instructor and personal trainer, was looking for the perfect place to live and open her fitness business, she chose the pink-painted, gray-haired town of Boca Raton, Florida — on purpose.

“I’ve lived in Scotland, Portugal, Spain, and stayed in Thailand and San Jose, California, but when I came to Boca, I thought, ‘I would love to live here,’” Gonçalves told The Post. “I love the weather. I love that we are very close to the beach. I love that we have everything that a big city has.”

Gonçalves is one of many young millennial and Gen Z entrepreneurs who have traded the bright lights of big cities for the early-bird specials of Boca Raton. Of course, the town has long been the butt of retirement jokes. It has more golf courses (around 35) than square miles (about 30). According to census data, of Boca’s approximately 120,000 residents, 24.6% are over age 65. And, in 2024, when Billy Joel bought his waterfront East Boca home for $24 million, he quipped on stage: “I’m just gonna spend a little more time in Florida like old Jewish guys from Long Island do.”

But now, the seniors from Long Island increasingly have some much younger neighbors.

Courtney Levitt, 30, a stylist and personal shopper, and her husband, Jason Stein, 32, a commercial realtor, moved to Boca earlier this year after eight years in Manhattan. At first, Levitt was worried that she’d be the youngest person on their West Boca street. But after visiting a few restaurants in the new Uptown Boca development and nearby Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue, the newlyweds realized that wasn’t the case.

“I keep hearing of more and more people who are trying to bring their businesses down here,” Levitt said. “We go out with couples who are around our age, and it’s really starting to feel like a mini New York. It’s really crazy, even a new bagel place near us was filled with young people.”

Levitt was referring to Long Island Bagel Cafe, which just opened in West Boca — its first outside Long Island, where it has nine locations. And New Yorkers looking for their food fix don’t need to go far: H&H Bagels opened in Boca in 2024; Patsy’s Pizzeria opened in downtown Boca last year; Gallagher’s Steakhouse opened in Boca in 2023; and the historical Boca Raton resort has an on-site Sadelle’s.

According to a new report from CoWorking Cafe, Boca Raton ranked No. 14 on the recent Top 20 US small cities for career growth list. The report noted that Boca has one of the “densest business environments in the entire dataset, at 12,640 establishments per [100,000] residents.” Boca isn’t a stranger to big business either: The first-ever personal computer was built on IBM’s Boca campus in 1981. Office Depot, Celsius, ADT and Canon all have a Boca headquarters.

There’s also a robust health scene. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift notably spent time in Boca during the 2025 NFL off-season while Kelce was training at local gym, Johnny O’s. A different Johnny — “Bananas” of “The Challenge” fame — is an owner of the Rumble Boxing franchise downtown. Boca is also home to two Lifetime Fitness locations, which serve as an alternative to the two dozen or so country clubs in town. And Equinox just started construction on its first-ever Boca location.

“Most of my [Pilates] clients are my age,” Gonçalves said. “I’ve been lucky to find friends through fitness here.”

Serhant agent and entrepreneur Tyler Cameron — who was runner-up on Season 15 of “The Bachelorette” — said Boca’s boom is great for business. Cameron is a co-owner of a location of the healthy wrap-and-smoothie shop, 3 Natives. He also knows the area well: A decade ago, the model and reality star attended Boca-based Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

“Boca used to be a sleepy retirement community, even when I played football there in 2015 through 2017,” Cameron told The Post. “But now, there’s definitely more restaurants, more shops, more things that are focused on the younger demographic.”

FAU reported receiving a record number of applications in 2024, a 27% increase from 2023. The influx of younger residents has also led to a rise in luxury rentals. The Post reported last year that nearly 8,000 apartment units are being planned in Boca, four times more than between 2022 and 2025. The real estate market is also healthy — and pricey. According to Zillow data, the average Boca Raton home value is nearly $563,000, while Redfin reports the average home sale price in Boca was $828,000 in March 2026. According to the National Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the median sales price of houses sold in the US in Q4 2025 was $405,300.

However, Boca’s growth has not been without bumps and bankruptcies. In the last few years, after city officials considered giving 30 acres of public land to developers and government agencies, green signs displaying “Save Boca” started popping up on lawns. The movement went small-town viral and sparked outcry about overdevelopment. After a March vote, around 75% of residents rejected the proposal. The election also made national news — the race for mayor was decided by five votes.

Meanwhile, the Mandarin Oriental hotel and condo project, which was supposed to serve as a shiny you-are-now-entering-Boca-Raton-from-the-south sign, is instead a half-built, twice-bankrupt, concrete eyesore facing pending lawsuits.

The issues haven’t stopped new projects, though. Just a few blocks away, longtime Boca developers and philanthropists, James and Marta Batmasian, were approved in March for a 12-story hotel project, after a lively city council meeting filled with profanities. That project aims to replace Boca’s “iconic” pink plaza along the south edge of Mizner Park, one of Boca’s upscale shopping and dining plazas. Then there’s the 10-story Glass House, which dubs itself as Boca’s “first modern glass building,” which is underway downtown, with condos starting at $2.5 million.

Jayden Daniels breaks silence on Brandon Aiyuk’s tense 49ers standoff

The Brandon Aiyuk saga continues to hover over the 49ers, and now one of his closest football friends is weighing in, even if he insists he has no control over what happens next.

Speaking to reporters during Commanders OTAs, Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels was asked about the swirling trade rumors connecting his former Arizona State teammate to the Commanders.

Daniels kept his answer measured, but the fact that he is being asked about it at this point in the offseason is telling.

“I don’t have a sense on it,” Daniels said. “That is my brother, we have a personal relationship, but his football future is out of my control.”

The connection between Daniels and Aiyuk goes back to Arizona State in 2019, when the two developed chemistry during Daniels’ freshman season.

Aiyuk exploded for 1,192 receiving yards (over 40 percent of Daniels’s total passing yards that season) and eight touchdowns that year before becoming a first-round pick by the 49ers in 2020.

That shared history is a major reason Washington continues to be viewed as the most logical landing spot if San Francisco finally moves on. Daniels also has another tie to Aiyuk through Commanders general manager Adam Peters, who helped draft Aiyuk while working in the 49ers front office.

Still, the situation remains stuck in neutral.

Aiyuk has not played since suffering ACL and MCL injuries during the 2024 season, and his fractured relationship with the 49ers only deepened after he ceased communication with the team during rehab in 2025.

General manager John Lynch admitted earlier this offseason that it was “safe to say” Aiyuk had likely played his final snap for San Francisco, though the receiver remains on the roster as trade talks drag on.

For now, Daniels is staying out of the middle of it publicly. But from a 49ers perspective, his comments only reinforce what many around the league already believe: Washington is just still waiting for San Francisco to finally pick up the phone.

Rams trade rumors swirl after ESPN floats Kayvon Thibodeaux deal

The Rams already have one of the NFL’s most dangerous young defensive fronts, but a hypothetical trade for Kayvon Thibodeaux could turn a strength into a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks.

ESPN’s Seth Walder recently floated a deal that would send Thibodeaux and a 2028 sixth-round pick to LA for a 2028 third-rounder.

On paper, it looks like, what Walder called, a “rich get richer” move. In reality, it may solve one of the Rams’ sneakiest roster concerns: depth.

The Rams leaned heavily on their top defensive linemen in 2025. Their top four players accounted for nearly 60% of the team’s total defensive line snaps over the season, one of the highest concentrations in football.

While Jared Verse and Byron Young were highly productive, the lack of pass rush production became noticeable late in games and especially during the latter weeks of the season and into the playoffs.

That’s where Thibodeaux becomes intriguing.

Thibodeaux, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, may no longer be the centerpiece of the Giants’ defense after the arrivals of Brian Burns and Abdul Carter, but he is still just 25 years old and showed he could produce at a high level, logging 11.5 sacks in the 2023 season.

Young is the only current Rams defender who has produced more single-season sacks (12) than Thibodeaux.

More importantly for LA, he’s viewed as a strong run defender who could rotate seamlessly into Chris Shula’s front without sacrificing physicality.

Financially, the move is workable. Thibodeaux is scheduled to play on his fifth-year option worth roughly $14.75 million in 2026. That is a true bargain for a short-term addition who could be an effective rotational edge rusher and offer more versatility to a defensive front that has relied heavily on stunts and simulated pressure.

The bigger question is if LA views him as a long-term solution or a one-year rental.

Young, Kobie Turner and eventually Verse and Braden Fiske will need extensions in the coming years. Trading for Thibodeaux could either complicate those negotiations or give the Rams leverage if they’re unsure about who to prioritize.

And for a team chasing another Super Bowl, keeping its defensive front fresh will be necessary. The idea of adding another explosive edge rusher may simply be too tempting to ignore.

Kevin Stefanski believes Tua Tagovailoa has key ‘God-given ability’ despite rough 2025

Tua Tagovailoa has a fan in new Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Stefanski, during Atlanta’s OTAs on Wednesday, praised the passing accuracy that Tagovailoa brings to Atlanta, describing it as an “innate, God-given ability” for the quarterback.

“I think it’s [accuracy] the most important trait at the position,” Stefanski told reporters on Wednesday. “Some guys get better at it with tweaks to how they throw the ball, tweaks to their lower body, those types of things. … All of our quarterbacks have this: to be able to let the ball go, and it’s going to where you want it to go. Not to say that you’re not going to miss throws in this profession.

“You’re going to miss throws, but all of our guys possess that innate quality of letting it go and knowing where they want it to go.”

That’s when he focused in on Tagovailoa.

“I think Tua, just in his career, as you’ve seen, just has that innate, God-given ability,” the Falcons coach said.

Tagovailoa is playing his first NFL season outside of Miami after he was released this offseason by the Dolphins — with a $99 million cap hit — and signed a one-year, $1.215 million contract with the Falcons.

The fifth overall pick in 2020 has had an up-and-down journey in the NFL, mixed with plenty of promise but plagued by injuries and inconsistency.

The QB struggled in 2025 when he threw for only 2,660 yards and 20 touchdowns with 15 interceptions in his final year in South Florida.

The poor season earned him a benching in the final three games.

On the other hand, Tagovailoa owns a 68.6 percent completion percentage since 2021, which puts him behind only Joe Burrow among all QBs who have played at least 60 games.

And in 2023, Tagovailoa led the NFL in passing with 4,624 yards.

Tagovailoa will battle it out with Michael Penix Jr. for the starting job in Atlanta.

Patriots receiver makes outrageous social media post

Just minutes after the Patriots wrapped up their second day of OTAs on Wednesday afternoon, second-year wide receiver Kyle Williams took to social media to voice his early frustrations.

“Ain’t no way OTA’s feeling like training camp,” Williams captioned on an Instagram Story photo, sitting at his locker. “N it’s only day 2????????”

The Patriots’ offseason has been a distracting one, as coach Mike Vrabel has been in the spotlight for cheating on his wife with NFL insider Dianna Russini, and rumors have circled around the team regarding a trade for Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown.

But even with all the distractions that have surrounded the Patriots this offseason, it’s clear that it’s time to get back to football for the reigning AFC champions.

The Patriots are entering their second season with Vrabel as head coach. Vrabel spent eight years of his playing career with the Patriots, winning three Super Bowls under Bill Belichick, who is considered the most successful coach in franchise history.

The Patriots spent one year without Belichick or Vrabel in the building as Jerod Mayo had a one-year stint as head coach in 2024.

Vrabel was tasked with bringing back “The Patriot Way,” and it appears that even with all the distractions off the football field during the offseason, he is still instilling the philosophy of tough and intense practices in New England.

Williams was a third-round pick by the Patriots in 2025. He is third on the team’s depth chart behind Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins.

Williams appeared in 17 regular-season games for the Patriots last season, totaling 10 receptions for 209 yards and three touchdowns.

Patriots QB Drake Maye has awkward ‘thiccer’ debate with reporter

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was in disbelief when he was asked about his thickness during a press conference Wednesday.

“Rude question, are you thicker with two C’s? Is that the way you’re supposed to say it? Is that kind of like the hip thing?” asked WBZ reporter Dan Roche, per Awful Announcing.

“Say that one more time?” Maye responded.

The reporter doubled down: “Are you thicker with two C’s? … Is that how it’s supposed to be or…?

Maye put his head down and laughed.

“That’s ‘pause’ if that’s anything,” he said while other reporters in the room were heard laughing. “That’s not the way to put it.”

Maye, 23, appeared to add some muscle this offseason after New England’s loss to the Seahawks in the Super Bowl in February.

When asked about his conditioning, Maye explained the importance of getting his body right for the start of his third season.

“I have a long season and being able to take some time off and come back into it and get your body right for the beginning of the season,” Maye said. “… It’s a long season and you tend to lose some muscle and lose some weight as the season goes on and your try to maintain that and you try to build.”

Maye, the Patriots’ third overall pick in 2024, helped guide the team to a 14-3 mark in the regular season in coach Mike Vrabel’s first year.

The quarterback was grappling with a shoulder injury throughout the postseason and was sacked six times in New England’s 29-13 loss to Seattle in Super Bowl 2026.

Despite the loss, Maye helped the Patriots go from worst to first in the AFC East after a 4-13 mark in the 2024 season.
