Congratulations to all who successfully completed the renowned COD (Hollywood Hills Edition) ride! For those who were unable to finish and were “chalked out,” your efforts were duly noted....NOT!

Special thanks go to Ken for meeting up at the observatory and providing water assistance. So he was half chalked out for the gesture.

To those who used every gear shift and even resorted to walking, your determination is commendable. You conquered one of the most challenging yet rewarding rides, and your accomplishment is truly praiseworthy.

A shoutout to Leena, the MVP of the ride, whose resilience and mental fortitude shone through, especially during the challenging Hollywood Dam Hill segment. I heard her with a dirty mouth talking to the hill. LOL. In the realm of cycling, mental toughness plays a significant role, and Leena exemplified this essential attribute. Below is a photo of the chosen few.

October 7th COD ride will be dedicated to Remi Bortel. She's 2 years old and battling neuroblastoma cancer. Her father, who works alongside our very own Steven Salazar at the Los Feliz Station can't make the ride but would love for us to make a stop by the station and say hi. (after we leave the Observatory)

If you are coming out, I'm asking anyone and everyone who has a Pink Cancer Awareness Jersey to sport it on this day.

COD 2020 Summer End Edition was amazing. So many new faces, so many faces that wanted to give up but you didn't and you survived. You should be proud of this accomplishment because most people get "chalked out"
