Its culture, its purpose, its legacy in motion.
Built from the heart, for the people.

Every journey has a place where the dream first became real.
For us, that place was The Masters Tournament.
As junior golfers, Aaron Grimes and Chris Staples didn’t just watch The Masters, we studied it. We imagined it. We felt it. The fairways of Augusta became a symbol of what was possible, even from places the golf world didn’t always expect greatness to come from.
In 2025, we returned not just as fans, but as founders. Founders of Compton Country Club and the Compton Country Club Initiative. Carrying with us every lesson, every setback, every early morning, and every belief that the game could be bigger than what we were told.
This year, we pay homage.
Not just to the tournament,
but to what it represented for us growing up:
• Discipline when nobody was watching
• Vision when resources were limited
• Belief when the path wasn’t clear
This hat is more than a piece of apparel.
It’s a symbol.
A reminder of why The Masters meant everything to two kids chasing something greater. A representation of legacy, aspiration, and the responsibility we now carry to create that same feeling for the next generation coming out of Compton.
Because what we once saw on TV…
we’re now building access to in real life.
The dream doesn’t stop at Augusta.
It starts in Compton.
What is your memorable Master’s moment?

They said build it where you’re from… so we did.
From the soil of Compton to something the world can feel 🌍
Big love to Nick Cannon for tapping in and standing behind the vision. When leaders from the culture recognize what we’re building, it’s bigger than golf, it’s about access, ownership, and rewriting what a “country club” looks like.
This isn’t just a brand.
This is a statement.
This is Compton Country Club.
From Compton. To the world.

Built for more than aesthetics, this space was designed to mean something.
Originally envisioned as a 70-ft fountain at the heart of Compton’s Civic Center in 1977, the vision evolved into something deeper. Rising white panels meeting in a circle… open space by design… a place to reflect, gather, and remember.
Inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop,” the structure carries the shape of elevation of reaching higher.
And that’s where we saw it differently.
We didn’t just see a monument…
We saw a Compton elevated higher than societal stigma.
A place where community meets intention.
Where you stand, set your line, and commit to the shot.
That circle or golf ball?
That’s unity.
That’s the game.
That’s life.
The reflecting pool became more than stillness, it became vision. Seeing yourself clearly before you swing.
That perspective inspired our Compton Country Club hat logo.
Clean. Centered. Intentional.
A symbol of elevation, rooted in where we come from.
Because golf isn’t just played on grass.
It’s played in spaces like this, where purpose, culture, and community meet.
From Compton to the World 🌍

– Chris Staples & Aaron Grimes
They told us golf didn’t belong in Compton.
So we built our own country club. A perspective shift internally and externally.
Not behind gates…
But in the heart of the community.
What started as a vision between
& ,
became something bigger than either of us.
A movement.
Through the ,
we turned purpose into action —
introducing the game to the next generation,
reclaiming space,
and rewriting what golf looks like.
This video?
This was the moment it stamped it.
Proof that you don’t need permission
to build something that matters.
This isn’t just golf.
This is access.
This is representation.
This is legacy in real time.
