Spoke N' Wheel Bicycle Shop
The fun bike shop!
Operating as usual

Let’s look out for the wildlife in the area.
Hey West Hills. I wanted to take the time and thank this community for allowing us to thrive in this community now for 47 years. The ups and downs, the shop fire, the wild fires we have stood strong. So I wanted to take the time and thank everyone for this. Happy Holidays and we look forward to service you again.

I know this is a little late but here is the winner of our year end raffle. He won a new electric bike valued at $2200 retail we plan on having another raffle starting in May.

One more week to enter to win this e-bike time is getting down to it we have over 1500 entries and all you need to do is swing by the store to enter. The chance to win a bicycle valued at $2199.99 is coming to an end don’t wait. The drawing takes place on Saturday the 9th.

Hey West Hills, Canoga Park and Woodland Hills. Spoke N Wheel had a great response over the weekend. Over 200 entries for the bicycle. We are running this to the end on November. So just remember all you need to do is stop by and fill out a form. We are changing our Sunday hours for the holidays we are usually closed but starting this week we will be open 10-4. We look forward to seeing you.

Hey neighbors, Spoke N Wheel is going to try a social experiment. By social we mean socially interacting. We are Giving, yes Giving away a $2099.99 Dart E bike. Starting tomorrow till the end of November we will be taking entry forms, then we will pick a winner on December 9th. No purchase is necessary. We just ask that you come into the store to fill out an entry form. We will put it in a glass bowl and pick one. Our idea is how many people would actually be interested in winning a bicycle the old way. In the old days you needed to fill it out in writing, mail it in or go to the location. We have been in the same place for 46 years. How many people know this? How many people are new neighbors? We feel with modernization we lose the human connection. The hello's, the how's your day going? The hey Mr. Wilson. I was in a restaurant the other day and I looked around and saw almost everyone is looking at their phone. Now, I know announcing this on social media contradicts my purpose but it is cheaper than placing an ad in a paper, which I am guessing nobody reads anymore. So share it, repost it, but you need to stop by and let's see if we can get community back in West Hills. The bicycle pictured is a step thru frame. The winner will have the choice of this bike or a tradition men's frame. The winner decides which one they would like.

Support small businesses….Every day.
Hey neighbors, Spoke N Wheel is looking to add another member to the staff. We are looking for someone with a little bicyclie experience, but it is not required. We are looking for someone who want to work. We take pride in our business having little turnover. I know there are a lot of businesses looking for employees. The only thing I can say is the environment SNW has is positive and fun. Stop by and speak with Walter the General Manager…
Hey everyone, I hope all has fared well during the past two years. We at Spoke N Wheel have had a struggle like all businesses with supply issues. Luckily we have been getting in new bicycles and parts for repairs everyday. As we get closer to the holiday season please know we are here and we are stocked up. We would love to help out any way we can. Feels good to be back in full swing again.

Hey customers, a friend of the shop and father to one of my wife's students passed away. David Bejarano Guarnizo at a young 40 years old. He leaves behind 3 children and he was the bread winner in the family. Although he doesn't live in West Hills I felt compelled to help out David's family anyway we could.

It is tough to see this but it is also refreshing. We just hope that people will still want to ride when this pandemic is over.
Bike Shortages Aren’t Going Away Anytime Soon—Here’s Why Industry experts say production and supply chain can’t keep up with the recent boom. Here’s what you can do.
We have reopened. We are limited on new bikes mostly kids bikes and cruisers. We are accepting service and repairs. Masks are required, please.
West Hills it seems the COVID cased are getting worse again and it has affected us. One of our employees had tested positive a few days ago. We have made the decision that we are going to close down for the rest of the year starting Sunday. We ask anyone who may have a bicycle there for service or had a bicycle purchased for the holidays to pick them up prior to Sunday. We will be open Saturday from 10-6 to help everyone as best as we can. Sorry that we need to do this but it is in the best interest of our community to look out for our employees and customers. Bring on 2021!!!
Hello West Hills,
Over the weekend it was discovered that one of our employees and a customer had tested positive for the coronavirus. We decided that we will be closing our store for at least a week to see if any one else tests positive and to get the store cleaned. We know there are customers bicycles here and we ask you email the shop at [email protected] To set up a time to pick up your bicycle.

If you are thinking of buying a bicycle. I cam across this article. I will say we have had a tremendous amount of calls asking about new bicycles. A new bicycle will run you in the range of $350-$500. However a full over haul on an older bicycle will run you $200-$300 something to consider if you have that old bicycle sitting in the back yard.
Thinking of Buying a Bike? Get Ready for a Very Long Wait The United States is facing a shortage of bicycles as anxiety over public transportation and a desire to exercise has sent the demand surging.
