(ENGLISH): TRUE OLYMPIC SPIRIT
With 2,000 metres left to go, New Zealand athlete Hamblin @nikki_hamblin tripped and fell, accidentally tripping up the USA’s D’Agostino @abbey_dags too. The American soon got up and instead of running helped Hamblin before faltering on a clearly injured foot. D’Agostino later fell down again and so Hamblin helped her up and the two began to run the race together before embracing at the finish line.
They did not win gold, silver or bronze in the event (5000m) but instead have been presented with the Fair Play award, the only award of its type of the Rio Olympics, for their acts of "selflessness and exemplary sportsmanship."

Try this fast and easy dessert! We've found that the fewer ingredients, the better. Also, Rome apples seem to bake up better than others. Thanks @cookinglight for the inspiration!

Pecan Pie Baked Apples
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 medium apples

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a saute pan, heat butter and brown sugar until slightly caramelized. Add nuts and cinnamon and toss to coat. Remove from heat and let cool.

2. Remove stem from the apple and using a paring knife, scoop the core of the apple but leave some at the bottom to hold the filling. Stuff apples evenly with pecan mixture and place in a shallow baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until soft.

You hear it all the time for good reason: consistency is key! For ANY goal, consistency is everything. Think about it: if you wanted to learn a new language and you only picked up the book once a week, do you think you'd learn it? or retain it?
