I’m so grateful for the gift that comes with being a mom to my kiddos. From worshipping together in church this morning, to surprising McKenzie at work and having lunch with my crew, as her manager’s visited our table just to tell me how much they love my girl ❤️. I’m so blessed to spend my day with the kiddos who made me a mommy ❤️. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas and the villages that help us raise our babies! 🥰

Laila grabbed my hand from the sidelines and asked me to run with her during their annual jog a thon at school yesterday, and of course I wasn’t going to let my baby down! I jumped right in and ran with her. These are the moments that I savor the most as a mommy. Both Laila and Jace did an awesome job! 🥰.

Choosing to spend the summer in Georgia, rejuvenating and reconnecting, was the best decision I could have made! Last week’s 7-year anniversary of our move to LA was a beautiful reminder that while I love our life here, there’s no place like home. I felt truly blessed to share precious moments with family, including my brothers, cousins, nieces, and nephews whom I miss dearly 🥰. Until next time, GA…🫶

Starting my day in downtown LA with the and my girl was a great way to end my week and begin a new month! Great vibes, great music, and great energy are always welcomed in this season of my life 🥰 🏃🏽‍♀️

Of course I had to put McKenzie to work on her first winter break as a college student. She perfectly captured how silly we are at the end of a whirlwind day of hosting our first school wide Polar Express Day! It was an epic success 🥰. I really love my Principal (in red), Counselor (in green) and Office Supervisor (in black). I could not do this work without them ❤️. Thanks for being our photographer, McKenzie ☺️. Now it’s time for my winter break to begin! 🎉

It’s the first day of Laila’s Thanksgiving Break, and she’s spending it on set shooting a commercial. This kiddo keeps us busy in the best way 🥰.

Mekhi and McKenzie are all moved into their dorms, and I cried like a baby when it was time to hug them goodbye 🥺. My cousin Sherry and her husband have been an absolute blessing throughout this entire journey! Not only did they fly from Georgia to help move them in, but they made sure that neither Mekhi nor McKenzie had to worry about anything. Our village helped me raise them and will continue to see them through such an exciting journey ahead 🥰🎉❤️🙏🏾.

Laila and Aiden were in tears saying goodbye to her besties Mekhi and McKenzie, as they head to California State University Northridge. We’re going to miss them so much! Mekhi is the big brother who wakes Laila up in the morning before school, turns on music, and dances with her, so our mornings won’t be the same without them. My heart is full ❤️
