Been hanging out and crushing lifts with my New York bros a lot recently
-
Smashin weights.. drinkin protein shakes

My Inner Ginny is peaking to the surface yet again and honestly..
-
It feels f*king great
-
When I first moved to Los Angeles back in 2015, I was done with New York.
-
Sick of the cold
-
Sick of applying for corporate jobs in Manhattan when I knew I hated staying there for more than 2 days.
-
I wanted a new life
-
I wanted to become someone different.
-
Little did I know that.. ’someone different’ is actually not different at all.
-
But more so just a leveled up and evolved version of my guido Long Island self
-
4 years later I’m finding the power in reconnecting with the younger part of me
-
Long Island Jesse was dope
-He lifted weights 3-4 days per week
-He trained in jiujitsu
-He got the ladies (yeah went there lol)
-He crushed pizza, pasta and bagels and still got to be in the best shape of his life.
-
I think what happens for most people is that, over the years they lose sense of who they are and what they want (and Need) to heal themselves.
->Hubby/Wife/BF/GF, Kids, and Work takes priority over health and fitness
->Working out actually becomes a chore
->They feel trapped in their routine
->They are are unable to change course and achieve their prime body back because they lack the clarity and motivation to get them there.

What if I told you a little secret..

That the power to push forward and see real results lies in reconnecting to that person you were.

Think back to your prime
->Remember how you looked in the mirror
->Remember how much FIRE you had?
->Remember how much energy and confidence that came with it?

It’s taken me a long time to truly commit to being a Fitness coach.
-
Theres a big part of me that has always judged myself for what I do.
-
A lot of these negative criticisms are based around my upbringing
-
I used to look down on other personal trainers.
-
I was told that there was no money in fitness, that after college it was time to enter ‘the real world’
-
that I would need a real job and be a professional.
-
This is what it means to be successful
-
Of course I didn’t want anyone to think less of me.
-
Jesse Catalano always wins
-
For years I was pushed into living someone else life.
-
and I will never go back to that again.
-
The greatest gift you can ever give to yourself, is to Fully Be yourself.
-
Unapologetic. Aware. Free
-
I’m more connected to my badass 2nd grade self now than ever before
-
I am here to share these principles that I’ve acquired and ways of being through my experiences.
-
Fitness isn’t my entire life.
-
But I’ve managed to consistently make it a part of it for over two decades.
-
At this point, exercise, nutrition, taking care of myself,
-
Channeling the ability to raise my vibration at any given second
-
and Staying lean year round.. Comes very easy
-
It really doesn’t have to be hard guys.
-
You just have to put 2 elements together:
-
TIME and consistent WORK
-
Thats not 6 days a week, 3 workouts per day and starving yourself.
-
I challenge you to perform 30 minutes of body work, 3 days a week
-

Confession: I just ate a huge meal. I also lifted legs this morning and my body feels really good today.

I also haven’t uploaded a shirtless picture in way too long, so here’s an update for you:
-
It’s February 27th, 2019. I am 28 years old. I weigh 169 lbs, I haven’t trimmed or cut my hair in 14 months.
-
I also started growing a goatee and the feedback is đŸ”„
-
That’s not the reason for this post though
-
I’m actually kind of pi**ed off that it’s almost March and I’ve seen so many people fall off their fitness routine already
-
Question: Didn’t you say that 2019 would be your year.. the year you’d finally get back in shape?
-
So many men and women I am talking to who are still ‘trying to get back at it’ or ‘trying to find the motivation haha.’
-
We all know this is the same story that happens every year but Im bummed.
-
Don’t you want to feel amazing about yourself?
-
Seriously.
-
There are so many people who go to the gym and get nothing from it.
-
They hire personal trainers and don’t notice any consistent changes
-
Some of my future clients even have home gyms and they barley use them at all
-
I know why..
-
Their workouts are boring asF
-
They feel like working out is a chore
-
This leads to not wanting to go to the gym
-
This leads to inconsistency and lack of results
-
We know that we need to be consistent but how?
-
With my clients here in LA and online clients all over the US, we focus on making losing weight FUN by incorporating martial arts striking into our fitness.
-
FUN and associating fitness with happy/badass vibes leads to Consistency & Control in our routine
-
Control over your actions yields Results which = Happiness
-
I’m actually going to buy a Bob today and re-establish my relationship with him. I heard he’s been talking s**t.
-
In the near future, I plan on demonstrating how fun it is to beat the hell out of things 🙂

The internet is awesome and it connects us to thousands of people

I just want to give a huge shout out to my Mom and Dad

Thank you for bringing me into this world

Thank you for loving me and supporting me throughout my entire life

Enrolling me in Jiujitsu at the age of 3 was the best thing you could have ever done for me

And Now I feel more connected to this mighty little samurai more than I ever have before

My younger self was so awesome sometimes I wish I could get to hang out and chill with him to see what he was like

I realize though, I am still the same person who identifies as a real life power ranger

I am a Black belt in Japanese Jiujitsu

I am life-long student

I am a Son and Grandson

I am a Brother to TC, Scott, Kaleigh and Kyle

I am a coach and friend to many people who I care about so much

I’ve been getting more emotional recently looking back and thinking about my life

I've been thinking about how grateful I am for being able to feel the way that I do

I wake up and get to do what I love every single day

I get to help people the way that I’ve always helped myself

It is training Martial Arts and Fitness that has given me the confidence and abilities to go after what I want and create my dreams into reality

Last Thursday I played the drums in my first live show here in Los Angeles

150 people came to watch and

All of my friends were there

and it was the happiest I’ve felt in so long

I’m so grateful for the people in my life

My Family

I’m grateful for everyone reading this

I Hope that everyone has an incredible day and that we can focus on making today the best day of our lives! đŸ™đŸŒ
