We’re taking things one day at a time right now.

I decided not to move forward with the biopsy, as it would not have been a cure and would have meant putting her through a extremely invasive surgery.

Right now we are trying steroids in hopes they help reduce the fluid and buy her more time while keeping her comfortable.

She still has chest tubes in place and continues needing intensive care, but she is eating, drinking, and showing little moments of strength.

Ongoing specialty care is currently around $1,000+ per day, so every bit of help truly helps right now.

This isn’t easy for me to share, but I’m doing it for Nala.

I started a GoFundMe for Nala’s emergency medical care.

She is currently in critical condition after fluid built up around her lungs/chest, and she still urgently needs a CT scan and further diagnostics to understand what’s causing this and to tell me if there are options.

I’ve already spent a significant amount trying to stabilize her and could use help to get her the diagnostics she urgently needs. I would love to give her the chance.
