Today’s Tip from our founder Jyima. Did you know that according to multiple studies including The NY Times, people under emotional or physical stress score 13 percent lower on IQ tests. Brain research has proven that when we are emotionally upset or stressed we can’t think straight. Without a strong mind we can’t have a strong body. It’s about learning how to react and deal with stress and properly address injury so we can be strong inside and out.

To @simplyemily who has just signed the lease and will be opening her own dental practice.

When @simplyemily started training @thejyim she was in dental school; she hustled, she grinded and worked her ass off while keeping up her fitness schedule.🙌🏾🙌🏾💪🏾

It has been insane to watch her train at 6am, box and lift weights, then jump in the shower, throw on her scrubs and shoot out the door for a full day of work.
She is nothing short of an inspiration that with proper balance and focus you can set goals and smash them.

You should never exercise in pain!! One of the most common issues we’ve found during our intake assessment is people exercising with lower back and knee pain! We understand if you want to go hard and push yourself, but our job is to make sure you do it safely. All our trainers are here to help you learn proper exercise techniques and address any pain to IMPROVE results and PREVENT injuries.
