Luka Doncic hasn’t been on the court lately due to a hamstring injury, but this might be exactly what he needed.
After dealing with a Grade 2 hamstring strain, Luka went to Madrid to begin specialized rehab.
Before moving on to the next phase, he made a stop in Ljubljana for something bigger than basketball.
Time with his daughters, Gabriela and Olivia, for the first time since December, according to Slovenian sports site Ekipa.
With everything happening off the court involving ex-fiancée Anamaria Goltes, this gave him a rare chance to slow things down and just be with them.
He is expected to head back to Madrid soon to continue his recovery.
And moments like this matter.
This is the kind of reset you cannot measure in stats.
And when Luka comes back feeling right mentally and physically, that is when he becomes a serious problem again.

The Play-In group chat finally broke up.
For years, the Eastern Conference Play-In was basically a private VIP club for the Hawks, Heat, and Bulls.
If you looked at the 7–10 seeds, you knew exactly who was going to be battling it.
But as of this week, the Play-In trio has officially ended, at least for a year.
🔸Atlanta Hawks (5th seed)
🔸Miami Heat (Play-In)
🔸Chicago Bulls (12th seed)

Paul George got the wake-up call.
Everyone thought the 76ers got fleeced when they signed George to a 4-year max deal.
He was entering his mid 30s and his PPG numbers went down by 6.
George also struggled to stay healthy.
When he started to get his rhythm back, he got slapped with a 25-game suspension from the league for using improper medication.
PG called the 25-game suspension a blessing in disguise.
And now the Sixers are finally getting the PG they spent $211 million for.
George's stats since the suspension:
🔥 22.1 PPG
🔥 5.8 RPG
🔥 2.4 SPG
🔥 46.7 FG%
🔥 42.3 3P%
This version of him can very well be the spark that ignites the Sixers to a deep playoff run in a wide open eastern conference.

There's no bigger troll in the NBA than Kevin Durant .
When things got chippy between him and Dillon Brooks, KD dropped the most savage bar we've heard all season.
"My worst season is better than your best"
Turns out he wasn't lying 😅
Durant's worst season (2007-2008)
👀 20.3 PPG
👀 4.4 RPG
👀 2.4 APG
👀 43.0 FG%
Brooks' best season (2025-2026)
👀 20.2 PPG
👀 3.6 RPG
👀 1.8 APG
👀 40.2 FG%
Trash talk that aged perfectly.

For years, LeBron James and Kevin Durant were the matchup.
Finals stages.
Moments that felt bigger than the game.
It was always supposed to happen deep in the playoffs… when everything was on the line.
But this time?
First round.
No buildup.
No waiting.
Just straight into it.
One of them is out… immediately.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry is down in the play-in, fighting just to even get a shot.
And if he survives?
It’s the new wave waiting.
Victor Wembanyama.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
That’s the reality now.
The legends aren’t meeting at the top anymore.
They’re running into each other early… just trying to stay alive.
Three superstars.
Three different battles.
All with the same pressure.
Because the league they once controlled?
Is coming for them.

It would be insane if Nikola Jokic didn't walk away with the MVP trophy after this.
We are currently witnessing a level of basketball that the record books weren't even designed to handle.
Per OptaStats, out of over 1.4 MILLION 10-game spans in NBA history, not a single player has ever produced the totals Joker just put up during the Nuggets' current 10-game winning streak.
252 Points
145 Rebounds
127 Assists
That is a 25/14/12 triple-double average while leading his team to a perfect 10-0 record in that span.
We’ve seen greats, we’ve seen legends, but we have literally never seen a stretch of basketball this complete.
He’s playing a completely different sport than everyone else right now.
If doing things that have never been done in 1.4 million tries doesn't make you the MVP, nothing will.

The Brooklyn Nets are in a position to make a real move this summer.
With talks around Giannis Antetokounmpo and a potential split between Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies, the window is right there.
The idea has been floating around the league.
The Nets are expected to explore a Giannis trade this summer, while Ja Morant’s long-term future in Memphis continues to draw attention.
Brooklyn has quietly built one of the deepest asset pools in the NBA.
💎 Five first-round picks in 2025
💎 Around 13–15 first-rounders through 2032
💎 Multiple pathways to involve other teams in multi-deal frameworks
That kind of capital opens doors.
Giannis gives you a dominant presence on both ends and immediate contention value. Ja brings pace, scoring pressure, and a different layer to the offense.
Putting both in the same timeline gives Brooklyn a clear direction and a high ceiling in the East.
The opportunity is there. The question now is how aggressive they want to be.
Brooklyn has the flexibility, the picks, and the timing. Now it comes down to whether they go all in.

This wasn't just another game for Jayson Tatum.
Last time he played at MSG, he left in tears and in a wheelchair.
A few days before his return, Tatum even said he wasn't looking forward to playing there again.
"I’m not thrilled to go back and play there. Last time I played there it was a traumatic experience for me," Tatum said.
Since his return from an Achilles injury, Tatum's barely missed a beat.
🔥 21.6 PTS
🔥 9.8 REBS
🔥 5.1 ASTS
So, despite the loss today, the Boston Celtics were always gonna be winners.
Tatum conquered his biggest fear and put the past behind him for good.
Who said JT didn't have any aura?
