If you’re ready to take your employee communications, leadership development, and organizational impact to the next level 🆙 (especially if you're a small org trying to do it on your own 😩 )...
📩 Send me your assessment results, and we'll spend 60 minutes (via video or phone) and identify key focus areas and develop a customized action plan to move forward with confidence.
Then you can take it from there, or we can explore how I can further support you in achieving your objectives…Or you can just take the assessment and use the clarity that comes from the results to prioritize your actions.
After 15+ years specifically partnering with executives and HR 💡, I've learned ...

So what are your strengths?💥
They are the activities you’re doing at work that make you feel strong. You feel confident and engaged in the work. You’re absorbed by the work and time passes quickly.
🌟You can get clarity on your strengths by observing your patterns – noting when you feel strong, when you don’t
And
🌟You can also take a strengths assessment.
My favorite is from Marcus Buckingham, 🌟called StandOut. He worked for Gallup for almost 2 decades and created this 😁fun, insightful assessment. The report is easy to understand and use. (I don’t get a commission if you take this.)
I believe he is offering it for free during the pandemic. You can access it on the homepage of ✅his website: https://www.marcusbuckingham.com
Work can be so fun when we use our strengths. We know we are making a difference. We know we are leveraging our best selves. We feel strong. The team is more successful.
Gallup shared in its 2019 book “It’s The Manager” that “What best differentiated engaged from actively disengaged employees was the time they spent focusing on their strengths…”
▶️Perhaps you could discuss your strengths and how to leverage them with your manager.
▶️As a manager, this is a great tool for your team.
When I got my results report (online right away) – it gave me a language to describe how I make a difference within a team and organization.
💥To your strengths!

I’m surrounded by awesome stories lately…
🌟Someone whose first screenplay is currently a finalist in a competition
🌟Someone who’s working at his dream gig with dream pay and dream coworkers
🌟Someone who’s joyfully, successfully launching her own business
Ya know what they all have in common?
They dared to show up.
💥Show up with their creativity.
💥Show up with their reputation.
💥Show up and be judged.
I’m not saying it’s easy, that it doesn’t create anxiety. But!
As Brene Brown says…“The willingness to show up changes us. It makes us a little braver each time.”
How do you want to show up this week…
So you progress on your journey to THRIVE?

This message from Michelle Obama may be easier to embrace once the challenge is behind us.
When we’re going through the challenge, 😳we can feel…
Less than. At a disadvantage.
But take time to consider 🤔 what you’re gaining from your current challenge. Maybe you
🌟Realize your own fortitude
🌟🌟Strengthen your self approval (…one of the most important gifts we can give ourselves!)
🌟Learn new skills
🌟Gain a more empowering mindset
🌟Increase your empathy for others
🌟Clarify how you want to be of service
🌟Connect with new, inspiring people
What about you?
What is something you’ve gained from a recent challenge?

We’ve had some great excuses not to take action, haven’t we?
▶️I don’t have the money to invest.
▶️I’m not clear on the best next step.
▶️I can’t seem to find the time.
▶️I tried that already and it didn’t work.
The key = doing what you can with where you are with what you have.
For years I thought about creating a YouTube channel, but I didn’t know what technology was needed, how I would record and edit the videos, what content would be of most value, how I could do it without spending money, and on and on. So I didn’t take action on it …for years!
But ya know what? 🤔When I got tired of thinking about it and not taking action – I just did what I could with where I was and what I had.
I didn’t buy any new tools, but used the softwares I had. I watched a crapload of free videos and found my way. My channel hasn’t reached my goal yet, but it doesn’t really matter right now. I did it! I’ve got lots of room to improve and grow, but I started!
We can use these fabulous excuses to keep us stuck. But realize – harsh reality – they really are just excuses. I KNOW there’s action you can take toward that dream, goal now with what you have, where you are.
Perhaps you can:
🌟Research your topic online and clarify your best next steps.
🌟Partner with a coach to figure out what beliefs may really be getting in your way, get clarity and develop a clear action plan.
🌟Carve 30 minutes out every day to focus on your goal. Because how important is it really?!
🌟Chat with a friend who knows more about the topic than you do to get some support, guidance.
🌟Figure out how badly you want it – because very successful people have had lots of failures on their way to success. So what if it didn’t work the first time?
There’s SOMETHING you can do.
What is it for you?
With love.

And WHAT are you? 🤔
💥An Imagineer?
💥Risk taker…like willing to try, suck at something for a while to get to the other side?
💥Believer?
💥Seeker of help and healthy partnerships?
💥Follower of your inner voice, highest self?
💥Approver of yourself?
💥Resonator of a high vibe?
💥Forgiver of bad crap that’s happened and mistakes you’ve made?
All these sound really nice, don’t they? They’re not always easy…at least not for me.
It’s an ebb and flow.
The more we’re conscious about WHAT we are, WHO we are
BEING, 💥showing up as the person who has already achieved that goal, that dream, that success we envision…
We can be more in flow.

I saw Iyanla Vanzant speak during a webinar yesterday, and there were serious words of wisdom!
She reminded me: 💥“Choice is our power.”
We have to remember…🌟we never lose our choice with how we see an experience and how we respond to an experience.
This is easier to say than to understand and live.
We can react to life experiences based on our default thoughts, based on our senses… 😳blaming others for what happened, staying angry, feeling a victim of circumstance.
It’s understandable. But with work, we have the ability to reframe the experience. 🌟We have a choice with how we view it and respond to it.
And it serves us to let go of what is weighing us down. We can't thrive if we are choosing to stay in a heavy, burdened energy. 🌟Creative ideas, new opportunities, a happier vibe can be gained by choosing empowered perspectives and conscious responses.
Having a partner such as a coach or therapist can be critical in this process – to lighten our energy, shift our perspective and make new choices.
I just loved this reminder from Iyanla.
I’ve got some work on this to do too!
Increasing awareness about our choice and power is a great first step!
With love.

In order to set yourself up for success with future employers or future customers…
Keep track now of the results that you are achieving.
Don’t wait until you want or need a new job or are desperately looking for new customers to gather your data.
✅Track your social media subscribers, financial metrics, customer results, etc. on a monthly basis now so that you are able to articulate the growth/results of your job/company to future customers and colleagues at any time.
When tracking your accomplishments, I also recommend using the CAR acronym:
▶️ What CHALLENGE existed?
▶️ What ACTION did you take?
▶️ And what was the RESULT?
These are the stories you can share with prospective customers and employers.
And it is better to include these results on your resume than listing job tasks.
Think about how you made a difference. Did you improve processes? Make money? Save money? Develop a new program? Improve the product?
While supporting the ethics and policies of your organization, keep samples of your work as well. Get testimonials on LinkedIn.
And remember: You’re not searching for a job, you’re creating your career.
🌟Remember your power and stay in the driver’s seat of your career. This is YOUR career. YOUR life. … And surviving isn’t enough. Let’s focus on THRIVING! 🌟
