Paper Challenge! It’s hard. Getting down to the bottom isn’t the problem. It’s getting your face to the paper that’s hard!!

Try it! Stand on one leg, balance any way you can, hold your ankle, your leg, whatever! Just don’t touch the floor. :) Pick up the paper with your mouth and come back up. Sounds easy. Good luck!

I’m teaching a Hip Opening workshop this Saturday, November 11th at Hollywood Boulders! All levels are welcome! If you’re a beginner, this is for you! If you’ve been practicing for some time, this is for you!

It’s been A MINUTE since I’ve done a backbend. Uff my upper traps were screaming! Sad truth is that I’ve neglected backbends. They’re not always fun, and for me they’re kind of scary. With pre-existing injuries, I tend to avoid the things that make me uncomfortable or the things that don’t come as easily, as I suspect most of us do. That being said, I will make an effort to pay attention to my backbends (shoulders & wrists) because, I love you too guys. 🙏❤️

Teaching Schedule for this week!

Yoga, if you’re looking at the physical exercise of the practice, trains your muscles to be strong and flexible encouraging full range of motion in your joints. As we get older, our range of motion decreases, causing all sorts of ailments in our later years. If we don’t use our muscles, we lose them! So do yourself a favor and come to yoga!
