✨Feeling powerful✨
Since March, staying at home has given me time to work on some goals of mine. I was so busy pre-quarantine I didn’t find a lot of time for myself, felt run down and lacking motivation; I was stuck in a rut.
That’s been the silver lining of these trying times. I’ve had time to refocus, and I am hitting my move and exercise goals daily, keeping track of my calories with @myplate.app and feeling more powerful that I can continue this going forward. Some days, it is just walking my dog a little further and I make my goal. I am still busy with clients virtually, but even on my day off I am motivated to do something to hit my goals. I am competitive by nature and seeing May completely filled in on my Activity App to this point makes me motivated to finish...and keep going!❤️💪😊

In these stressful days, remember to make some time to have fun! Stress ⬆️ your cortisol levels, which can in turn have adverse effects on your metabolism, making it harder for you to lose/keep off excess weight.
For me, a good time is playing with my 🐶, hanging out with my hubby, or getting some time under the California sun! ☀️
