Thank you to the families, coaches, tournament organizers, teams, and the whole community of girls' baseball. We had a great time at Leighton Accardo this year. Our hope is that the players returned home with new friends and a renewed commitment to challenge themselves to reach new goals, in baseball and everything else. Cheers!

Today is the anniversary of our first official girls’ baseball clinic! Shout out to the volunteer coaches that have given their time, attention and expertise to so many female athletes over the last year. Thank you to Encino Little Leagueand Chatsworth Junior Baseball League for their support and use of their facilities. And to all the other facilities and vendors that have supported us in different ways. Cheers! Here's to many more!

Join LA Heat 14u for the Leighton Accardo all-girls baseball tournament, December 2025. We have only a few spots left. Team manager: Michele McAnany (Colorado Silver Bullets).

We have a busy few months ahead! LA Heat team practices for Leighton Accardo began this week, and will continue as often as 2-3 times a week some weeks to allow more opportunities for families with busy schedules. We are still looking to pick up a couple players in both 12u and 14u for the tournament in December, please reach out for more info about the teams and coaches. Clinics are open to all, and we are planning for one at the end of this month, as well as planning our Anniversary event for November! We couldn’t do any of this without our volunteer coaches and the support of our local leagues, shout out to you all!

"The application window for the 2026 Trailblazer Series is now live!

Hosted annually by Major League Baseball and USA Baseball around Jackie Robinson Day, athletes receive world-class instruction and unique educational opportunities, all while celebrating trailblazers throughout the game. The 2026 Trailblazer Series will take place from April 16-19, 2026 at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida. The cost for each participant’s lodging, meals, and air travel (if applicable) to and from Vero Beach will be covered.

Applications are due by 11:59pm ET on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. The Trailblazer Series is a limited-capacity event, and completion of an application does not guarantee athletes a spot. All applicants will be notified of application status and any next steps no later than December 19, 2025.

Eligibility: Female baseball players in high school graduation classes of 2030, 2031, and 2032. Additionally, athletes must be at least 12 years old by January 1, 2026 (must turn 12 prior to such date), and no athlete may turn 14 earlier than January 1, 2026.

*ALL APPLICANTS IN THE CLASS OF 2030 OR 2031 MUST SUBMIT SKILLS VIDEO(S) TO BE CONSIDERED. There is an additional form that needs to be completed that corresponds with the skills video component. A link to that form will be provided following completion of the application otherwise. Note, for the class of 2030 and 2031, although not exclusive criteria, selection is based heavily on the skills showcased in the required video submission.
