Conditions Forecast
===================================
Visibility along the Palos Verdes & Redondo areas have been FAIR/GOOD this past week. Laguna was also GOOD this past week.
We had one of our Instructors - Manami - Out with a Private Advanced Student TODAY at Vets and Surf was ZERO and VIZ was 15-20 Feet :-)
We are looking at good conditions overall for Today & Tomorrow but will see a change Sunday mid-day with an increase in the swells & Wind continuing through Tuesday Morning – making Dive conditions POOR Sunday (Mid-Day through Tuesday afternoon. Following, we will return to calmer Seas & Good Weather. With these calmer conditions & diminishing swells following Tuesday, we expect conditions overall to greatly improve later in the week.
===================================
REDONDO:
Swell forecast currently shows Redondo at 1-2+ foot Surf with 4 second intervals & 2.5 foot swells for Saturday (FAIR/GOOD) & 2-3 foot Surf with 8 second intervals combined with 4.0 foot swell Sunday (POOR) Night Dives for Tuesday OR Wednesday Evening Forecast 1-2 foot Surf with a 14 second interval combined with 2 foot swells, but based on the Swells over Sun/Mon/Tues likely only (FAIR).
PALOS VERDES:
West facing Palos Verdes Beaches & Coves (Malaga, Haggerties, Flat Rock) all show 0- ½ foot Surf with 12 second intervals & 1 foot swells for Saturday (VERY GOOD) & 0-1 foot Surf with 18 second intervals & 4 foot swells for Sunday (These are big swells for a Rocky Beach – so POOR).
South Facing Lobster Spots in Palos Verdes (Royal Palms, White Point, Point Fermin & Cabrillo) show 0-.5 foot surf with 15 second intervals & 1/2 foot swells for Saturday (VERY GOOD) & 0-1 foot Surf with 18 second intervals combined with 1/2 foot swells for Sunday (VERY GOOD).
High Tides are ideal for rocky entries along PV and we have High Tides around 9:00 am this Saturday, so best to hit Haggerties around 8 am this weekend.
LAGUNA:
Laguna shows 1–2 foot Surf with 12 second intervals and 1 foot swells for Saturday (VERY GOOD), 1-3 Foot Surf with 18 second intervals combined with 2 foot swells for Sunday (GOOD).
Conditions overall have been FAIR/GOOD this past but are expected to move to POOR Sunday Evening through Tuesday Mid-Day later this week. We should see an improvement in VIZ each & every day after Tuesday in the coming week.
Water temps are about 57-59° deep at 50-100 ft. + and 62° shallow. The weather forecast is calling for Partly Sunny skies & mid 60s Air Temperatures through next weekend. There is just a drizzle of Rain predicted Sunday mid-day, but windy conditions for Sunday.
If you're joining our Group for the First Time, just look for the Pacific Wilderness Beach mats when you arrive at the Beach (Pictured below). Simply come over and say "Hi" - We'll brief you from there.

Conditions Forecast
===================================
Visibility along the Palos Verdes & Redondo areas have been GOOD this past week. Reports of good visibility in Redondo with 10-15 foot during our “Squid Dive” Sunday Evening. Haggerties & Terranea reported POOR Visibility, but at White Point we had 20 foot VIZ in the cove on Tuesday morning. A group of us Dove the Oil Rigs Thursday and had 30 plus feet of visibility 😊. TOMORROW (Saturday) looks like the last chance to get a Good Dive in before we see High Swells moving in Sunday and more Rain hitting Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. However, we think next weekend should return to good Dive Conditions.
Of Note, Pac Wild Employees participated in our Night Dive last Sunday night and witnessed large groups of Squid Eggs scattered in the Canyon. Hopefully this will result in a SQUID run for us all to witness.
===================================
REDONDO:
Swell forecast currently shows Redondo at 1-2 foot Surf with 15 second intervals & 1 foot swells for Saturday (VERY GOOD – Calm before the Storm) & 4-6 foot Surf with 17 second intervals combined with 5 foot swell Sunday (UNSAFE). Night Dives for Tuesday OR Wednesday Evening Forecast 4-5 foot Surf with a 14 second interval combined with 7 foot swells (UNSAFE), but likely some great - from the shore Photo Ops.

PALOS VERDES:
West facing Palos Verdes Beaches & Coves (Malaga, Haggerties, Flat Rock) all show 0-.5 foot Surf with 8 second intervals & 2 foot swells for Saturday (GOOD) & 1-3 foot Surf with 17 second intervals & 4 foot swells for Sunday (UNSAFE – Based on the Rocky Entry).

South Facing Lobster Spots in Palos Verdes (Royal Palms, White Point, Point Fermin & Cabrillo) show 0-.5 foot surf with 12 second intervals & 1/2 foot swells for Saturday (VERY GOOD) & 1-3 foot Surf with 11 second intervals combined with 4 foot swells for Sunday (POOR).

High Tides are ideal for rocky entries along PV and we have High Tides around 3:00 am this Saturday, so best to hit Haggerties as early as possible Saturday.

LAGUNA:
Laguna shows 1-2 foot Surf with 15 second intervals and 1 foot swells for Saturday (VERY GOOD), 1-3 Foot Surf with 17 second intervals combined with 4 foot swells for Sunday (FAIR++), making Laguna your best bet for an OK Sunday Dive.
Conditions overall have been GOOD this past week but will turn to Poor as we progress through the week. We should see an improvement in VIZ by the end of this coming week.
Water temps are about 57-59° deep at 50-100 ft. + and 62° shallow. Weather forecast is calling for Rain Early in the week with overcast skies & low 60s Air Temps. Changing to Sunny Skies and mid-60s Air Temps from Thursday through next weekend.

Conditions Forecast
===================================
Visibility along the Palos Verdes & Redondo area have been POOR this past week. Reports of Fair at best visibility in Redondo with 5-10 foot & Haggerties, Terranea & Laguna all reported 5-10 foot this week as well.... However, the heavy rains Monday through Wednesday Night into Thursday morning changed all that and we are once again hoping for improvements this weekend onward.
Of Note, Ian, Tim & Todd participated in our Night Dive last Wednesday night and witnessed what we are hoping is the beginning of the SQUID run. Just a couple small patches of eggs increased to many patches & some mating Squid, but hopefully it will boom into something more spectacular. We will keep you posted.
REDONDO: Swell forecast currently shows Redondo at 1-2 foot Surf with 7 second intervals with 3 foot swells for Saturday (GOOD-) & 1-2 foot Surf with 11 second intervals combined with 1 foot swell Sunday (GOOD+). Night Dives for Tuesday OR Wednesday Evening Forecast 1-2 foot Surf with a 12 second interval combined with 1 foot swells (GOOD++), but likely FAIR Visibility.
PALOS VERDES:
West facing Palos Verdes Beaches & Coves (Malaga, Haggerties, Flat Rock) all show 0-1 foot Surf with 7 second intervals & 3 foot swells for Saturday (GOOD-) & 0-1/2 foot Surf with 11 second intervals & 1 foot swells for Sunday (GOOD++).
South Facing Lobster Spots in Palos Verdes (Royal Palms, White Point, Point Fermin & Cabrillo) show 0-1 foot surf with 12 second intervals & 1/2 foot swells for Saturday (VERY GOOD) & 0-1/2 foot Surf with 15 second intervals combined with 1/2 foot swells for Sunday (VERY GOOD), but Visibility is expected to be POOR.
High Tides are ideal for rocky entries along PV and we have High Tides around Noon this Tuesday for our dive, so best time entering along PV would be around 11am.
LAGUNA: Laguna shows 0-1 foot Surf with 12 second intervals and 2.5 foot swells for Saturday (GOOD), 1-2 Foot Surf with 15 second intervals combined with 1 foot swells for Sunday (GOOD++), but with the rains - likely FAIR visibility at best.
Conditions overall have been POOR and should improve to GOOD as we progress through the week. We should see an improvement in VIZ by end of week.
Water temps are about 56-58° deep at 50-100 ft. + and 57 to 58° shallow.
Weather forecast is calling for Sunny Skies and mid-60s Air Temps.
If you're joining our Group for the First Time, just look for the Pacific Wilderness Beach mats when you arrive at the Beach (Pictured below). Simply come over and say "Hi" - We'll brief you from there.
Special thanks to Shop Staff & Kirk Wester / Ian Uhalt plus Shop contributors for this week’s Photos!
