Natural Grocers sets the bar high when it comes to ingredients. That’s one of the many reasons we’re so excited to share that our Italian “Sausage” is now on shelves.

It joins our Ground “Beef”, “Chorizo”, and Chopped Chick’n in the refrigerated set, giving you even more ways to cook with quality, real food ingredients.

Have you spotted it yet?

No one has life figured out in their 20s.

We definitely didn’t.

But if we could go back, we’d give ourselves a few reminders about food. Nothing about diets or rules, just simple habits that make eating well feel a little more natural, less restricted.

Here are six things we wish we’d known sooner. Which one would you add?

A very real day of eating as a founder + mom.

I don’t have time to make beautiful, elaborate meals. Most days I’m utilizing leftovers, eating on Zoom calls, and trying to convince my kids that snacks don’t start before breakfast.

I don’t count calories or macros. I just focus on building meals around plants, protein, fiber, healthy fats, and ingredients that do something for my body because feeling good matters to me.

My workouts aren’t about earning my food, they’re my reset button. Running in the morning and hot yoga at night are two pockets of the day that are just for me.

So no, this isn’t a “perfect” day of eating. It’s just a realistic one. Quick meals, plenty of nutrients, and food that keeps me feeling my best through long days of building a company, raising two little humans, and trying to keep all the balls in the air.

What’s one meal you make on repeat when life gets busy?
