Happy Earth Day! Missing the Motherland. Throwback to my last trip back to the Philippines in 2023.
I have been making a conscious effort to spend more time outside, and to be more present and enjoy the natural beauty of my surroundings whether while in the car, on foot or looking out the window.
Here are some other simple ways to make every day Earth Day:
LOWER YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
• Bike or walk
• Carpool or take public transportation
• Choose an energy efficient vehicle
• Make fewer trips by grouping your errands
• Drive smart: go easy on the brakes and gas, use cruise control, and keep your car well-maintained
REDUCE, REUSE, AND RECYCLE
• Reuse or repurpose containers, clothin and cloth grocery bags
• Give clothes a second life by donating or
buying used
• Know what items your local recycling program collects, and what items are recyclable
BE H2O SMART
• Repair leaky faucets and replace old equipment like toilets and dishwashers when possible.
• Turn off the water to brush teeth and shave
• Run full loads of laundry and dishes
• Collect rainwater to use in your garden
FEED PEOPLE, NOT LANDFILLS
• Check your refrigerator, pantry, and freezer before shopping to avoid buying foods you don’t need
• Plan your meals for the week before heading to the store
• Properly store fruits and vegetables so they last longer
• Befriend your freezer and leftovers

11 years/52 weeks = about 4 check-ins a day. I teach 6 days a week so this sounds about right! 🤪💪🏼❤️

So much fun with some of the moms from Sinai Akiba Academy for their first Matcha and Pilates class, here at Beverly Hills! Group 1 of 4- for now! 😄 Look at the awesome goodie bag everyone took home too! Big thanks to , Antonia, Brandon and for setting this up!

My schedule as of late has been pretty hectic, so I’ve mostly just been getting in mini workouts demoing while teaching , and adding in actually taking a class or two of - pilates (of course), barre, or even a quick 20-minute HIIT YouTube video. And monitoring my water intake! 💦
They say the camera 🎥 adds 10 pounds and this is from a selftape the other night. Sometimes we don’t see progress from our workouts or new eating habits immediately, but with consistency, it happens!
Be gentle with yourself and do what you can. 💛 Sometimes the hardest part is showing up! I love group classes for the motivation and community. Message me if you want to come take class or for a private!
