P3 to end the year with our best finish of the season‼️

Qualified with a 22.24 which was our best qualifying time of the year which still left us 10th with some work to do in the feature. After rolling off p10 we quickly found ourselves in 8th content to ride around for the next 50-60 laps as we knew we had to have some tire left for the end. After a couple good moves at the choose cone we were running 6th with about 20 laps to go. After another caution we knew it was time to give it everything we had and ended up running our fastest lap of the year on lap 69/75 at a 22.08.

Overall, we showed more speed and learned more every race throughout the year. Finished the year 3rd in points and was the highest finishing rookie. I can’t thank everyone enough for their support and knowledge throughout the entire year. Chase Adams with JuneBerry Tire soak &Cuts for all the phone calls and keeping my tires top notch all year. Kimmel Racing for listening to all of my ideas as well as providing answers to any of my questions. My dad and Sharp Chiropractic at Glenmary Centre for all of the hours in the garage. Excited for next year is an understatement. We’ll continue to search for more speed and continue to chase a win. We’ll be back.

P4‼️
Another successful day to build on. We fired off slow to start the day as the car was super free which we had anticipated due to the hot track and Arca rubber that was going to be laid down. Still struggled a bit in qualifying and ended up 8th after having some motor troubles. We made some adjustments to tighten the car up and felt like we had a good piece for the feature. We were able to climb up to 4th when I started to feel the right front starting to come apart due to tightening the car up a bit too much. We tried to just survive the next 20 laps but around lap 35 the RF had had enough and grenaded coming off of 2. Luckily, we didn’t hit the fence and were able to come in and get a new tire and still ended up finishing 4th. We’re getting closer to the front and excited to finish the season strong in a few weeks. I couldn’t do this without all of the support from everyone.

🏁 IT’S RACE DAY AT SALEM SPEEDWAY! 🏁 The ARCA Menards Series takes on the legendary Salem Speedway high banks today in the Spruce 212, marking the 112th ARCA Menards Series race at Salem Speedway.

There’s a full day of action ahead, with Crown Vic Big Track racing leading into tonight’s 212-lap ARCA main event.

P6 to end August on a high note!

This picture pretty much sums up our night. We started off the day with pretty good speed in practice and went 8th fastest. In qualifying we picked up another tenth which wasn’t as much as we were looking for and ended up 8th again by .001 seconds. 5th-8th were separated by less than a tenth. For the feature we had good speed and I was excited to get back to a shorter sprint style race instead of a longer marathon like we have ran the last few times out. We were able to get up to 6th about halfway through the race chasing 4th and 5th which we did nose to tail for about 25+ laps. We were quicker than the two cars in front of us, but could never seal the deal on a pass and it wasn’t for lack of effort. I tried every lane imaginable at Salem and just couldn’t get enough of a run to get them both. Overall, a really good points day for us and with every lap I’m more and more comfortable in the car. We’ll see everyone again for a busy day September 12th. Thanks again to everyone who helps make this possible!

The rain strikes again… 0/3 in the last few weeks. See everyone September 12th!

With a forecast of 80% chance of rain on Saturday with possible severe storms and 70% chance of rain on Sunday we are going to go ahead and cancel this weekend's racing activities on Saturday and Sunday. Neither event will be rescheduled. The next racing event at The Salem Speedway Motorplex will be the Joe James/Pat O'Connor Memorial on Saturday, August 15th. The next The Salem Speedway Legendary Kart Club event will be on Sunday, August 23rd.
