What a long weekend. Left early Saturday morning to head down to Nashville with Kimmel Racing and got home around 2:30 Sunday morning. Took a quick nap and headed up to Salem. With the new tire rule and the lack of Accelera’s everyone has been in a bit of a scramble trying to figure out what’s best. We tried something different and battled a loose car all day. We ended up qualifying 10th but left some time on the table after trying to adjust air pressures and the car getting even more free. With the 75 lap feature we knew we had to make the tires last until the end and were able to settle into 8th and ride for most of the race. With a restart with 18 to go I made a bad move at the choose cone which put us in a tough spot. A few laps after the restart we were put the top of 3 wide into turn 3 and into the fence which killed our momentum and ended up finishing 13th. We’ve got a couple kinks still left to figure out but the car is still in one piece and we will work to make it better! Thanks again to everyone that helps make this possible!

Well we came away today with a heat race win and got our first top 10 with an 8th place finish in the feature. We’ll continue to get faster as we look forward to May 3rd for the duel 75’s. I can’t thank everyone who helps out enough🏆

Really good way to start the year. We picked up speed throughout the day picking up 8 tenths between practice and the race. Qualified 16th out of 34 cars with a 22.5. Once the race started we were quickly able to go from 16th to 10th within the first 10 laps. But around lap 17 the struggles began. I took a gamble with fuel and somehow we ended up very short. Luckily there was a red flag shortly after so we managed to initially only lose two laps and after the restart the car was on a rail and we ended up turning the 7th fastest lap of the race at a 22.1. Being a few laps down and struggling with fuel pickup issues I decided to save the car and just fall in line to ride out the rest of the race finishing 18th. Huge thank you to everyone who came and helped with the car. Looking forward to the Spring Fling April 12th!

An ode to those before. Happy to bring the family colors that have won many races and championships the last 30 years back to the track in 2026.
