Something of a new parenting level is unlocked when I can create 2 tiny pieces of art during the same vacation.

We hadn’t realized there were elk in the TN/NC mountains!! 😍

Last night’s blaze left a beautiful, iconic Madison, IN landmark battered. Because I know my God is the author and origin of all true redemption and healing (and because I have wanted to paint this beauty for a long time), I am sharing this sketched glimpse of Madison’s Trinity UMC - whole and healed, and ready for color.

If you feel broken, if you feel beaten, if last night feels too heavy to came back from… there is Someone I know who never fails to lift fallen souls and raise dead hearts to life. Turn from your own broken choices and trust Him for hope and a future.

We recently spent a little time back at Southern Seminary letting the boys swim in the HRC and I got to sneak over to for a Java Chip muffin and a yummy banana bread flavored coffee while playing with some MS Hall Trash illustrations that I am renaming “Treasure from Trash.” More on that to come :).
