winter resident trainers added a pair of Grade 3 wins at Belmont at the Big A to an impressive weekend tally πͺ
π CITY GIRL (FR), trained by Chad Brown, recorded her first career graded stakes win in the Beaugay S. (G3).
π DETERMINISTIC, trained by Miguel Clement, defended his title in the Fort Marcy (G3), earning a wire-to-wire victory for the second year in a row.
Both horses posted their final breezes ahead of their wins at Payson. Congratulations to all the connections! π

We are incredibly proud to see the late Christophe Clement, a longtime winter resident trainer, deservingly elected to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.
Clement (1965-2025), a native of Paris, France, won 2,576 races with purse earnings of $184,127,449 million (12th all time) in a career that spanned from 1991 through 2025, when he lost his courageous battle with cancer.
Among his top trainees were three-time Eclipse Award winner Gio Ponti; 2014 Belmont Stakes (G1) winner Tonalist, who also won consecutive runnings of the Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) in 2014 and 2015; and 2021 Breedersβ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) winner, Pizza Bianca π
Today, Christophe's son Miguel Clement continues his legacy at Payson. Congratulations to the entire Clement family on this recognition.
The 2026 Hall of Fame Class will be enshrined at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, at Fasig-Tiptonβs Humphrey S. Finney Sales Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The event will be aired live at π racingmuseum.org.

FAR BRIDGE just might be a Floridian π
The 6-year-old horse returned from a six-month layoff to defend his title in the Pan American S. (G3) at Gulfstream Park. Congratulations to Miguel Clement! π
Far Bridge has not lost is five career starts at Gulstream. It's a joy to have him with us during the winter months in Indiantown! π΄
