Moore is once again the host site for the girls elementary basketball and flag football clinics. We are here to offer multiple pathways to get the young ladies in the community involved in athletics

The old saying, "you can't see the forrest from all of the trees" is correct. We have been swamped working hard to improve Athletics at Moore, here lately every turn has been disappointment or another road block. This weekend was Homecoming and I refound my WHY. Thursday was powder puff on the turf, these young ladies were full of excitement and will remember every minute. Friday started with an amazing outside pep rally where every class showed School spirit. Homecoming the last second win was amazing, but I loved seeing the improving band at the game plus the amazing dance team. The best part of the night were all the alumn that came back to cheer on the young MUSTANGS and reconnect with the coaches that are also alumni. The best thing that has happened in my career finished off an amazing MOORE weekend. Saturday we opened basketball season with our MUSTANG Madnes, MS had 2 games, HS had their intersquad scrimmage. My coaches came up with the 1st ever alumni basketball game, the entire BARN was full of MUSTANG PRIDE. I was just sitting in my corner smiling from ear to ear. If I could just step back and look at our forrest, I would see how beautiful MOORE already is, and know that I'm where I need to be. Surround yourself with great people and great things will happen.

It is finally HOCO week at The Marion C. Moore
