Man oh, man now that some of the excitement has calmed down, At the start of this cheer season we knew that we wanted to end with a bang and boy did we!!  I’m not sure where to even begin these nine girls in this picture have proven time and time again that they can accomplish anything, and everything that is thrown in front of them. Some may know and some may not, but we found out in January that we were going to Florida for sure, what started out as a team of 11 turned into a team of 9 just 3 weeks before we were to leave for Florida. The thought of not being able to compete at nationals absolutely crushed us, but don’t let that fool you because through dedication, perseverance and strength these nine amazing athletes below rallied together, made several big changes in the routine, girls were pushed to their limits and put in spots that they had not been in the entire year but stuck with the changes and came together to conquer what seemed like the impossible! Saturday morning was full of emotions I went from happy to sad to nervous every emotion that you could think of we went through on Saturday morning.  Believe it or not this was only about the fourth time that these girls have performed this routine full out since they became a team of nine and they crushed it! I am so extremely proud of them. They took that mat on Saturday morning and absolutely owned it and because of that they are now National champions and Grand champions . For those of you, that don’t know in order to get grand champion, you have to score the highest out of the entire division , in our division on Saturday there was us, the other elementary team that we competed against and two middle school teams, and those nine girls below scored the highest even against girls that were twice their age!! This team of nine girls competed at six competitions and have been undefeated this entire year. I could go on and on and on about this team! I also want to give a huge shout out to our parents and grandparents and anyone else involved to make this happen without you and your support we would’ve never made it this far. So again, let me introduce you to your UNDEFEATED NATIONAL AND GRAND CHAMPIONS!!
