it’s more than exercise!

Mastering the fundamentals of exercises is essential before progressing to more complicated movements because a solid foundation ensures proper form, reduces the risk of injury, and enhances overall performance. Fundamental exercises teach body control, balance, and correct muscle engagement, which are critical for safely executing more advanced moves. Skipping this step often leads to compensations and bad habits that are harder to correct later and can limit your progress. By mastering the basics, you build strength, mobility, and confidence in your movements, making it easier to transition to complex exercises with efficiency and precision. In short, the fundamentals are the building blocks that set the stage for long-term success in fitness and athletic performance.

Coaches, Trainers, and Parents…stop withholding water! Encourage your athletes to drink MORE water and drinks with electrolytes OFTEN throughout training workouts, practices, and games!

It should NOT be looked at as a Reward! Look at it as being MORE IMPORTANT for the success of your players, than the next play, you are going to call!

Every athlete will be different! Some sweat a lot easier, and more than others. if they feel thirsty… That means dehydration is already setting in! The goal should be to stay fully hydrated throughout, without actually feeling thirsty!

Not knowing whether they are staying hydrated throughout the day when you don’t have them, should make you be more dead set on them being hydrated in your care!

Wanting H2O is NOT being Weak, lazy, or not Mentally tough!

Sports Science says it’s NECESSARY for your athletes to Perform at their Highest Level! 💪🏾😁

Thanks to Coach Q for inviting .tilley_5 to run with this weekend! I was proud of how well he played! He didn’t go out there with the mentality of shooting the ball every time down the court…and believe me he could’ve! Instead he played like a Great teammate even though it was his 1st time playing with anyone on the team. 2 of the players came up to me and said, “Tilley really passes the ball!” I guess that’s a rare occurrence, if they took note of it! If you want to know about a player…ask another player…they’ll tell you the truth!
