I’ve made some investments this past year in myself and in my business that would have made me s**t my pants 2 years ago, but the impact they’ve had on my life are astronomical and worth every penny.
Check out these slides for more on how investing in things like mental health, physical therapy/fitness, support from a coach, taking a trip, or anything else that makes you excited, can impact your life.

What does a coach do?
Well, simply put - we are teachers, guides, cheerleaders & a support system to help you reach a predetermined goal.
We share experience and knowledge.
We teach tactics and strategies.
We support you through life’s ups and downs and offer guidance when you’re unsure which path to take.
We cheer you on when you follow through with commitments and reach your own goals.
We motivate you when showing up is the last thing you feel like you could do.
There’s a lot of things that goes into being a coach, and this barely skims the surface…
Coaching has been my ultimate dream come true when it comes to a career I actually get excited about, while allowing me to live a life I feel just as passionate about.
Being able to work with others and guide them on their journey to a better self is the most rewarding thing I could do with my time and I’m so grateful for the opportunities.
If you’d like to learn more about becoming a coach, send me a DM and I can give you more details!

You didn’t get this way over night, so don’t expect to become a “new & improved” version of yourself overnight, either.
It takes persistent effort to grow into a new version of you.
I know how hard it gets sometimes, but don’t give up, yet, because it gets so much better.
Keep showing up. Keep taking care of yourself. You’re worth it.

When we don’t see the results we think we should, we think we need to fix our results.
The truth is we need to fix our systems.
When I want something, I’m willing to do anything and everything to get it.
This kind of thinking is great for getting started, but terrible for keeping momentum over the long term.
If you keep doing anything and everything, you’re open to getting “anything.”
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want just anything. My goals get more and more specific the more I envision them, so my systems need to match up if I’m going to achieve them.
Growing up, I always thought I had to just keep trying harder and I’d eventually “Get there” - whereever that was.
It wasn’t until these past couple of years I’ve learned that it was this line of thinking that was keeping me stuck.
The more I focus on my systems, and fine-tuning them as I continue to go, the closer I get to the life I’ve envisioned for myself.
Things like
Changing routines that are no longer serving me, but draining me.
Adding to my self care practice.
Reducing the time I’d allow myself to spend on things.
Hiring a coach to help me in the areas I keep getting stuck in.
Outsourcing when I can to save time and energy.
To name a few.
Drop a ❤️ below if you agree it’s more important to focus on your systems vs the results you hope to see?

We’ve all heard of emotional intelligence, but what about emotional fitness?
Emotional are THE most powerful force on earth.
Emotions are what start wars, and also how we end them.
If we can learn how to use our emotions effectively,
We can experience the most extraordinary life that we can dream of.
We’ve all been given the gift to choose, shape, and direct our emotions.
Therefor change the quality of our life in an instant and help others to do the same - we just have to learn how.
If we’re going to live an extraordinary life, we have to learn how to become the master of our emotions.
Did you know the way you feel is based off of the meaning you give things?
Today my therapist reminded me that feelings are not facts, what’s a fact is that I’m feeling.
When something really challenging happens, you can either make it mean we’re being punished or that we did something wrong, and then deal with the emotions attached to those meanings…
Or you can view it as an opportunity.
An opportunity to grow, and to learn.
Which meaning is more likely to lead to the emotions you’d rather experience?
What’s wrong is always available… but so is what’s right.
Which brings me to Emotional Fitness.
Emotional fitness is a state of readiness. It’s different from emotional intelligence, because you have to train yourself. You have to actually apply your emotional intelligence.
Emotional Fitness expands our thoughts, our understandings, our actions, our abilities, the way we interact with people, and the way we experience the world.
Most people have a highway to stress and a dirt road to happiness and joy.
You can change that, because emotion is just a habit.
If you’d like to learn more about this, click the link in my bio and apply for coaching! I’d love to help you master your emotional fitness and prevent self sabotaging behaviors from holding you back.

Had to do this !
I was talking to my best friend this morning about all of the crazy and exciting things I’m doing these next 4 weeks and am literally in awe of the person I’m becoming.
10 years ago I was a terrified freshman in college. A girl who would do anything for people to like her, even if it meant giving away every part of me - and thought my freshman and sophomores year that was exactly what I did. I lost everything that made me, me. I fell deeper into my alcoholism than I thought possible. I faced more trauma than I ever thought I could handle.
Today, I’m sober, I found a love for myself that I never thought possible, and have created the business of my dreams.
The changes I’ve made this past year alone are astonishing to me, let alone reflecting back 10 whole years.
I am so grateful for that scared girl I once was, and how strong she had to be just to survive each day. She inspires me every day to continue to show up, not just for me, but for my clients.
Without her, I wouldn’t have the insight or experience to coach and help so many people overcome their fears and learn to love themselves and create lives they love as much as I now love mine.
My advice to you?
Love yourself so deeply, so truly that you won’t accept anything less than you deserve - from yourself or others.
& Say yes to the things that challenge you to grow, even when they scare the s**t out of you.
I’m so grateful for these last 10 years.
Every up and every rock bottom led me to a life I once believed impossible.
Cheers to the next 10 years!!

Failure is something you do, not something you are.
Let me say that again.
Failure is something you do, not something you are.
This was such a major mindset shift for me, and changed how I thought about myself on so many levels!
It turns out we’re supposed to fail. Over and over again. And then some more.
Yes we can learn and grow through success, but how do we reach success without failing a hundred times, first?
If you’re failing, that means you’re trying, your challenging yourself, and wanting more for yourself - and I think that’s pretty fu***ng incredible.
So keep showing up.
Keep trying.
Keep failing.
Keep trying again, and again and again.
It’s worth it.
YOU’RE worth it.

4 years of sobriety.
How Fu***ng wild is that, dude?
If you knew me 4 years ago, you may have known I didn’t go anywhere or do anything without alcohol not only in my system, but with me in my tumbler.
I hated myself. I loathed myself more than anything. I was filled with so much hate, so much anger. So much resentment.
I didn’t believe in myself, even for a moment.
It’s weird to think now that I’m grateful for getting a DUI, that I had to have a breathalyzer in my car for 9 months.
But it was exactly what I needed to gain the perspective that my drinking was truly a matter of life or death.
I remember after I got home from the police station the first thing I did was dump out almost $100 of liquor. It was a rocky start for the first 2 month, but by this day 4 years ago, I was finally ready to give myself the love I so desperately believed I needed to get from somebody else.
While I’m beyond proud of myself right now, I’m not sharing this to brag. I’m sharing this because if I can Fu***ng do this, so can you.
If you’re battling addiction or alcoholism, know that there truly is hope and possibility out here.
Know that you are NOT alone.
My DM’s are open if you need someone to confide in or have questions about any of what I’m sharing - my path or yours.
I’m sending out so much love today, and hope you have the best freaking day you can today.
And remember, you are worthy of love, of forgiveness, of compassion, and so much more💜

Everything is connected.
Everything affects everything.
Drop a 🧠 below if you’ve ever heard of the Biopsychosocial model before.
I remember when I first learned about this in college and everything clicked for me - it was a big Aha! Moment for me.
So what is it anyways?
Well simply put…
Our Biology effects our psychology and how we interact with the world.
Our Psychology (mindset & mental health) effects our biology and how we interact with the world.
Our culture, societal norms, peers, relationships, and our environment effect our biology and our psychology.
It’s so much more than just “nature vs nurture”
And you can’t just focus on one aspect of the three or you’ll quickly reach a stopping point/ plateau.
What do you think, do you believe everything is connected & that everything effects everything?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the topic!

Does anyone else get overwhelmed when trying to set goals for an entire freaking year?!
I don’t know what I want for dinner tonight, let alone what I want to work on in July.
That’s why I recommend breaking things up into a few months at a time when I’m helping my clients set their goals.
If you’re interested in grabbing a copy of my FREE Goal Setting Guide that I walk my clients through, DM me the word “Goals” and I’ll help you start the year off with tangible steps to create your best year yet!

Setting and maintaining habits is hard, especially if you’re neurodivergent.
One of the things I’ve learned this year is that it doesn’t matter how often or how much I do something, some days I just won’t “feel like” doing the thing.
Drop a 😅 below if you can relate.
I was listening to a podcast while painting the other day talk about habits being decisions we make every day vs things that happen automatically and it was such a huge mindset shift for me.
Focusing on the small behaviors, the small actions, & the small choices vs the big ones can lead to even bigger results due to their compounding effect 🤯
What do you think? Do things get easier for you through repetition or do you still struggle sometimes with motivation even after developing consistency?
