I am honored to have the opportunity to serve Senate District 26. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who made calls, wrote postcards, sent texts and to everyone who pitched in a donation. This was a team effort. Today shows that Kentuckians want leaders who will work together across the aisle to tackle our state’s biggest challenges.

I am so appreciative of Governor Beshear’s endorsement and everything he did to support our campaign and I’m excited to be a part of crafting policy with him in Frankfort. Working in an ER, I see the pressing health care challenges facing our commonwealth and I can’t wait to help deliver solutions. We’re and now more than ever we need to be working together.

As we wait for results, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers who worked so hard these last several weeks, as well as all of the people that took the time to vote in this election. It has been overwhelming to see so many people giving their time, energy and money to our campaign. I, like all of you, will be eagerly waiting for results next week. I’m proud to have had so many of you on our team.
