Just call me a road warrior. Can't help but think there's a better way to connect with school partners. Do many schools/teachers have access to web cameras, iPhones or iPads? It would be so useful and cost effective to Skype or use other online video mtg. resources.

If you didn't go to the KAHPERD Convention this past Sun-Tuesday, why? I'm curious.

The whirlwind of Jump & Hoops Event planning mtgs have begun. And I'm going paperless. Pretty fun stuff. Can't wait to share all our new things.

Healthy Tip: when ordering a latte ask them to 1/2 the amount of syrup and order it with low fat milk and no whip. Still a tasty treat!

Exciting things are happening! We are thrilled to partner with two new schools St. Matthew's Elementary and Louisville Collegiate School during 2011-2012.
So far, 148 schools across Kentuckiana are partnering with the American Heart Association this school year to promote healthy lifestyles and helping those with hearts that aren't so healthy.

If you need a little extra passion this Tuesday morning, check out this story that was on the today show, a 12 year old girl revived by her PE teachers caught on video. A great example of why we are working so hard to grow school partnerships!! Without the AHA and laws in Texas requiring AED’s in schools, this little girl would not be alive today.
