This morning, Mayor Craig Greenberg announced a partnership between the City of Louisville and the University of Louisville to honor legendary Athletic Director Tom Jurich.

Under his leadership, UofL rose from Conference USA to the Big East and eventually the ACC, saw major financial growth, and brought to life iconic venues like Cardinal Stadium and the KFC Yum! Center.

His departure came during a tough chapter for the program, however fans know the foundation he built.

On June 28, the city and the university are finally giving him his flowers.
